How many liners can fit in that laundry bag from Kavee?

This laundry bag is spacious enough to fit a 4x2 or 5x2 liner or two 3x2 liners 🥰

Having issues getting excess hay unstuck from the bottom of the fleece (bottom of rainbow fleece/ cream color) tried shaking it off, etc... drying machine seemed to work in taking it off, but I'm aware the bedding is best air dryed. Any other tips? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for reaching out! We recommend the use of a rubber brush (often used for pet hair) as many piggy parents find it helpful when removing loose pieces of hay!

Hi There! Most of our orders are delivered in 3-5 days. Under normal conditions, we usually prepare and ship orders in 1 to 3 working days. Once shipped, orders are delivered in 2 to 4 working days! :)

Do you guys have the coroplast bottoms on their own on your website to use as a base for the framework? I've currently got a setup with the wire mesh pen and just the liners at the bottom. I want to have a coroplast bottom to keeo everything inside the cage as it gets on the floor 🥲x

Can I use any laundry bag or does it have to be a certain type of bag?

Any tips for washing in a top load washer? Mine won’t spin dry and is excessively wet when it finishes the wash cycle. Spinning makes a heck of a lot of noise as it is unbalanced.

Wash two at a time and make sure they are evenly distributed throughout the machine

Ive just washed the liner for the first time. I put on a synthetic program at 30 degrees. Its vome out really wet. Is that right? Its a new washing machine. Ive had it for a week. It takes a 10kg load. I feel a bit disappointed now cos in the winter its going to be a nightmare to dry

Hi! I’m actually trying to do this right now, I have a fleece liner and it’s really really dirty bht I don’t have a kavee bag so for now could I use a pillow case or just put it in by itself? Also I’m American so our washers don’t have degrees they have temperatures so high medium low is it really, i just want to make sure I won’t be ruining it at all because I did wait a little long to clean it

Pillow cases can also work as a quick alternative. As it is made of cotton, it may not release the water as efficiently as other materials such as our laundry bag. We would recommend using a low heat setting where possible! 😄

May I ask how long will it approximately take for them to line dry completely?

It can take more or less than 2 hours but ultimately depends on environmental factors! It can be slower or faster depending if it is outside and sunny, hung up in a room with a radiator etc. :)

i just bought some cage liners from your actual company, do i have to wick those too? or only liners from like amazon? and do i need to wash it 3 times and i cant tumble dry? i have to hang dry? can i do it this time because my guinea pigs are fighting in this cage i got at a pet store, its too small for them, got them a c&c cage for a 5x2 and then got 2 liners, one of my liners is thick and the other is thin. can i use the both somehow? or should i have 2 waterproof ones and 2 padded ones?

We recommend prewashing our liners before first use in order to activate their absorbent properties. A prewash will allow liquid to wick away from the surface. We recommend air drying our fleece liners in order to avoid shrinkage when in a dryer. @@kavee_pets i washed it once with hot water and used vinegar and a small amount of detergent. And then i did actually dry the fleece but i dried it with no heat. I have a dryer in my condo that works on low heat, med, high, and no heat and delicate option as well. Fleece turned out fine, and it stays dry. I didnt need to wash it 3 times, and i also have a litter bin in the corner so it seems to stay dry, i did however put doggy pads under the fleece in case any droppings of urine leak through

You said wash at 30. My washing machine has 18 min hot warm cold how should i wash them? Also cant the bag be used in a washing machine not a front load? Thank you new piggy mom

For the best results, we advise a maximum temperature of 30 degrees. Try to avoid hot washes where possible. You can also use the laundry bag in a top-load machine. 🙂

It depends on how many piggies you have and how much time they spend in their cage/ out of their cage for floor-time. We usually recommend swapping them out every 2-3 days. I hope that helps 🙂
