MoM is definitely required viewing before Agatha all along. and Guardians 1 is probably required before A:AoU because of the dream sequence showing the power stone in the orb, which you'd only recognize after seeing that movie
I did forget to mention that Multiverse of Madness would be required before Agatha All Along, thank you for pointing it out! Although I disagree with needing Guardians 1 before Age of Ultron, yeah there is the quick shot of the Power Stone but Thor's dream sequence doesn't really lead anywhere tbh, if you watched Guardians 1 after Avengers 2 then you wouldn't be lost at all in my opinion. But that's not to say that you need to watch to watch Guardians 1 after Avengers 2, it works either way tbf
This is great! I've been tinkering around with drawing my own watch order 'road map', so this has been insightful how other people see it. I tend to like chronological, but will sometimes prioritise storytelling over what happens in timeline order. e.g. I start with Captain America: The First Avenger, then Iron Man - leaving Captain Marvel between Infinity War and Endgame. So even though Captain Marvel events occur before Iron Man, I like to watch Captain Marvel after Infinity War because of Infinity War's mid-credit scene and Captain Marvel's mid-credit scene leads nicely into Endgame. This is going to sound weird, but I also like to try and keep the ordering somewhat inline with how the Marvel Studios logo changes lol. Another reason why I don't watch Captain Marvel as part of 'phase one'. But this was a fun watch. Liked and subbed. P.S As a fellow Brit I know it as Avengers Assemble. I better title, in my opinion.
Thanks! It's great to see how others think about the MCU, what we agree on & disagree on. I never mentioned the MARVEL Studios logo changing with pretty much each instalment so that's a great point you bring up mate. Look forward to seeing your road map btw Also yeah I like Avengers Assemble better than The Avengers too, but only marginally
Yeah, I tend to think the 'phases' aren't much more than Marvel Studios' 'planned' release slate. i.e. when they do events that announce future projects. The line does seem arbitrary though.
It is annoying when they keep changing the canon. If they want people to watch their franchise, then they need to atleast make it somewhat easy to understand what the franchise even is
@@burnsyladdd I think it's too late to get it uncanned now because Daredevil: Born Again will release in 2025 and it's quite obvious that these are the same characters from the Netflix shows like LITERALLY the same characters in the same continuity.
Spider-Man: Unlimited was never canon to the 90's Animated Universe. Heck we just saw Chris Barnes' Spider-Man in X-Men '97 and the show didn't even made a reference to the other 90's aside from Spider-Man: The Animated Series (the theme was referenced yes but that isn't close because that theme could have been used in other Spider-Man shows or films similar to how MoM referenced the 90's X-Men theme and plus the 60's Spider-Man theme was referenced in almost evey Spider-Man franchise from the Raimi Trilogy, the MCU, and the Spider-Verse)
Spider-Man Unlimited is loosley connected to the other 90s Spider-Man cartoon, go read the Wiki. Yes there are some contradictions but the same goes for all of the other MAU cartoons, because of things like contract issues, licensing negotiations etc. Plus Spider-Man Unlimited was set in 1999 which is why it wasn't referenced in X-Men '97, which is set in 1997
@@burnsyladdd You know I think the show shouldn't be a Spider-Man show in the first place. Maybe put the Fantastic Four or Iron Man or Hulk in it and it would be fine or atleast make it an Avengers show.
