Hi JB, it really depends on your preference however some aquarium accessories may cause risk on the Arowana lalo na yung mga pointy. There is a tendency na pag nagwala sila, pag tinamaan nya yung accessories most likely matatangalan ng scale or magagasgas. That is why in my case I prefer no accessories in the tank. with pebbles it's okay as long as you clean it regularly, pwde kasi masingitan ng mga poops and pag hindi natanggal can cause poor water quality. For the lighting, this depends.. for Gold Arowana and Silver usually daylight is the best for them, this can be fluorescent. For Red Aro, usually pink light is ideal to intensify their red coloration.

Use pvc pipes. Cut and measure to fit. I'm using a similar setup with pvc pipes and a net to bind the top to make a cover. The net helps to cushion the fish if it jumps.

Question how do you eliminate snails in the tank

4 Cool Kidz never had snails in my tank.. do you have plants? Its possible that it came from plants or rocks used as decor. One way to eliminate them is adding rock salt on your tank.. 1 cup every 50gal.

It's made out of PVC then I put sand inside to make it heavy. I've use tie wrap to attach the plastic net. Just make sure the size of the hole will not fit any small fish that you havr. I'll make a video soon on how I made it. ;)

Wade Ben I only change the filter wool from the 1st Chamber of my Sump. I still have 3 chambers with filter medias so beneficial bacterias are not disturb.

Hi Gowtham, my tank dimension is 5.5x2.5x2.5ft at the minimum you should have 24inch(2ft) depth for an arowana tank. Asian arowanas can grow up 2 feet and silver arowana is longer.

Hi Juvin, here are some of your options if you prefer having a single 6ft tanning light for your tank. Dymax Rex Tanning light 6ft (External light, mounted in front of your tank) Kintons LED Tanning light 6ft (Submersible, you can put inside the tank) Arcadia Tanning light is too small for your 6ft tank, they only offer 4ft tanning lights.

My Aro's tankmate is a Red Flag Tail, usually ranges around Php800-1,300 small size. You can also consider Tinfoil if your concern in uneaten food below the tank, those fish are relatively cheap and you can comm.

I only add rock salt if there's a need to cure in my Aro, ex. Cloudy eye, mild dropsy, chipped scale, etc. but I don't add salt regularly during water changes.

Thanks! I appreciate it. at the minimum you need at least 4ft x 2ft for your Aro. the bigger tank the better since silver could reach up to 3ft max. If you have budget and room space go for 6x3x2.5 (LxWxH)

Hi Chrissia, Sump Filter po gamit ko. Yung nasa baba ng main tank.

Compared po sa canister filter, alin po sa dalawa ang mas madali imaintain and isetup? Money is not an issue naman po.

Mas madali po maintenance ng canister compared to sump. But it depends on your tank size, pag malaki na kasi yung tank better ma mag sump. Mas stable ang water parameters (temp, pH, etc..) pag naka sump since kahit mag waterchange ka malaki parin yung volume na natitira sa tank. Meron ding way para mapadali ng onti maintenance ng sump.. pwede mo palagyan ng valve kada chamber para yung maiipon sa ilalim na debris (waste) madali ma drain.

Ok lang basta may water surface movement.. either from power head or overhead filter.
