Hi Alexa, thanks for watching the video. In this glass i also used nasdar for backing up the gold and dint have any problem. Maybe you are thinning your paint a bit too much?
@darraghmulryan1586
@darraghmulryan1586 2 года назад
@@joha_mune Great video! Looks like you got a lovely gild. One of the reasons the backup can chip is if the sponge is too wet when wiping away the excess gold. It's better to only have it a small bit damp I find, more on the dry side than the wet side, it's the water that can cause chipping.

How do you suggest heating the gelatin mix when you're on location? Also, I assume since you used real gold not imitation, that's why the gold is so shiny with no lines/cracks?
@joha_mune
@joha_mune 7 месяцев назад
Hello Sara, Hope you're doing well. You can prepare the size at your place and bring it with you to the location. You don't need the size to be warm for gilding. I have never used imitation gold, so don't know how it behaves. But with real gold, you need to burnish it to make it shinier and remove the wrinkles. I hope this helps you 😊 It would be great if you subscribe to my channel and like the video. That would mean a lot to me ✨🙏🤗 and will help me to keep bringing more content here for all of you. Hey Joe, I'm not really sure if I get your question. For the water size to flow down in large amounts the glass has to be grease free and very clean. Otherwise the water won't flow well.
