Getting up for barefoot water skiing is made much easier with a boom pole. Learn how to get to your feet with the help of a boat boom in this barefoot water skiing video.
Funny to watch new skiers try to do this. It is a lot easier to do by starting from slalom and dropping a ski, and that also helps prepare you for barefooting long-line.
this doesnt make any sence... so at 20mph i get to my butt, at what speed can i go to my feet?? because at the end of the vid. it says he is doing 35mph?!?!
@ljpeilert no normal ones arent padded. My friends dad went barefooting with a normal wetsuit and had to ice his package for hours the next day. Buy a padded one!!!
Ha... are you nuts man? Like Paul Mac said, if you fall on the boom, you can just hold on and try it again. Also, beginners are going to fall on the boom, so its better they do it here where the falls don't hurt too much opposed to doing it long line where you get thrashed. If you get prepared for doing longline by going boom then shortline, you will actually be prepared when you get to longline and deep water starts.
