Great video about what looks like an amazing product. Thanks for going thru the needed steps to prep & apply. Dryloc alone failed in my application after a few years. Now that I’ve addressed slope & exterior drainage issues, I’m gonna give this product a try. Like one of your other commenters, I’ll be applying Dryloc primer & topcoat on top of the two coats of mortar. Yep, it’s a belt & suspenders approach, but I’ve never regretted “overbuilding”. @@angellas.1314 the walls are doing great so far, the floor is way better than before but still has minor issues only during periods of heavy heavy rain. There is just too much water pressure from below during these times. It is more due to the water table being high and the original floor that was done way back in the fifties. Overall thought it stays pretty dry down there.

Great video and noted ... family and I are on house hunt and we found a nice place but the foundation has seepage in the crawspace ... as we really like the place we are going for hopefully securing it for ourselves this coming week ... honestly I am hoping people who don't know any better looking at this place will see this and just hide from it so it is an easier thing for us to get as so far we have lost five houses over the last year of our hunting for a place .... as if interest rates and prices of suitable houses was not bad enough ... anything really good has upteen people looking at it and for five cases they have all had more money than we could manage -_- Anyway just wanted to drop the thank you as the cost of the place is steep and paying a professional to do this work so I am happy to do it myself and get to saving us some much needed cash by rolling up my own sleeves to help fix our hopefully 'future home'

Hi Michael, where do I send the check to? I called pond stores about water proofing my two story water fall holding pools, they said we don't do waterfalls, I called pool companies, they said to small of a job no thanks. Than I went to home depot where no one knew anything the rapid set products. Than I called rapid set. A guy named Alex was so kind and helpful. I knew what product to use at that point. I still had to be convinced. Your video convinced me and today I did it. two coats added SAKRETE cement coloring. @derreckmckenzie5521

Hopefully you sealed the foundation from the outside by digging all the way around which is the proper way. This method will do more harm then anything else trapping water in the foundation deteriorating it until the pressure is able to get through which it will eventually. Never seal the interior unless the exterior is bulletproof or completely waterproof , or the bill to fix the damage will be much more then 14 grand.

Love all Rapid Set. I use it and swear by it. Folks, this will NOT make your house a boat. Insane is the all of human existence that ignore downspouts properly running away from the house. All roof water needs to be 10 feet away or piped away. I make my living in this concrete type work, but it’s always the ignorance of roof water gutters downspouts and gravity. Now top class builders run the downspout down to the foundation and walk away. Ignorant. The roofing and gutter guys run it right down to the side of the foundation and walk away as if it’s job complete. That is building with cancer. Never finished the job. New learning but it is stupidity. New fix boys like this, ignoring downspouts running the roofs water 10 feet away from the foundation. NEVER NEXT TO IT. This will not make you house a boat. Make sure your downspouts and your gutters are all properly working for the amount of square footage on your roof. I see so many houses the new next homeowners eliminate a downspout is if that would save them money yet three or five years later their entire concrete back porch is sinking 7 inches and they have no idea how it ever happened

What about exterior use such as on the concrete coping cap of a chimney, located in the cold Midwest?

This stuff is probably slower to apply than Behr deckover. It's like pushing pudding or cottage cheese with a roller😓. I'm sure it is a great product. Thanks to you and your videos I have been able to convince my tightwad boss to spend a few extra bucks and have had great results. Thank you for your content.

My neighbor with his million dollar house had a complementary shed made from the same materials as the house in his back yard. He would never touch a tool if you held his feet to the fire. He tore the shed down to put in a play set. I think his kid played on it maybe twice.

Great video. I had not heard of this product. I have a stand up crawl space that is partially underground. I am looking for a process to seal the masonry bricks. Would you recommend the Rapid Set, DryLok or something else? thanks
