Is brushing necessary for the skis so that you get better traction or can you just leave it as is? Also, if I don't happen to have a dedicated brush for skis, Is there an alternative for it?
Brushing makes the ski glide better. Machanical friction generated by brushing also attaches the wax to the base better. You can just buff it out with a cloth or use a findernail brush if you don't have a waxing brush.
