I’m 72 and rock my gray and yes I dress stylish, wear lipstick and do my lashes. I workout and I’m in good physical shape. I’m comfortable with my age.
For me ditching dye and straight hair is about authenticity. I never felt good dyeing my hair. As soon as I started wearing my gray from my husband to many men and even women on the street started paying me So many compliments. It's affirmation, not that I needed it. I love my silver/gray! One thing I do take issue with is people who say "I m x years young." Only old people say that. I am 65. I love being 65. 65 is not young. I sometimes say I'm sixty Fine. I never say 60 years young because to me it's like still holding onto this thing that getting older is negative. You never hear someone say I'm 29 years young or I'm 32 years young...at 65 I am amazing and more free than I have ever been. And I get way more positive feedback than ever
Love that you embraced your hair without getting tied down to color. Yes people ‘in these streets’ love to see us embracing our gray. It’s a confidence it’s a vibe it’s empowering when you do. Well that’s what I feel. I hear ya about the word young. It’s just a thing to me I’ve never said I’m 25 year old 50 years old. It’s just a thing I do. No big deal to me I’m just having fun hun. I just say I’m 53 period!! ❤️💃🏾 Love the sixty fine!!!! Thanks 🙏🏾 🔥
I would say I'm 60 years YOUNG because it's how I feel, I know 60 is not young, but I Don't feel old, SRY!! I do all the things that's necessary to keep me healthy so I feel good about myself, I'm not grey, I'm SILVER, precious metal..... Responding in this way brings out a different attitude.....I hate the term "grey hair," that's what's old, lol
I’m 70 years young. My daughter and Goddaughter convinced me to color my hair purple. I did love my gray hair, but I get so many compliments. I’m having fun with a purple fade hair cut. Thanks for this video.
I am a man and I am 60 years old this April and I just left my hair gray for the over the 5 years you aren't these gray hairs they are metals thank you Lord you getting gray some people don't see it it is an honor

So true & I sometimes tell my students to just pray they get to be older in their young lives with Gray hair. I am embracing my Gray hair, however I haven’t really found the Gray that I want to rock. I admit I do need to step up my wardrobe. I know it will make a difference.
Honey, my sister and I are absolutely thrilled about embracing our gray strands!! We have fully embraced becoming mature, graceful women!! We are calling ourselves the Silver Foxes. Thank you so much for a much-needed conversation, Ladies.
I'm 60 and I started a grey patch at 21 that expanded to my whole head by 40. So I embraced it and started installing synthetic gray hair to achieve different styles. I feel very confident and beautiul and oddly, I get more compliments from younger men than anything lately.
Yessss YOU GO SIS rock that look!!! Thanks for watching we appreciate ya ❤️🙏🏾 ❤️🙌🏾🙏🏾💃🏾 Want more support and excitement? Consider joining our FB COMMUNITY facebook.com/groups/growngirlsgogray/ 👩🏾🦳🧑🏿🦳👩🏽🦳 #gograybechic
Great tips and video ladies. I find that as I get older what people say or think about me has less and less meaning to me. I love my freedom of not having to color my hair every 3 weeks and I am excited about my gray journey. Blessings to you all.
The host/Beautician is ABSOLUTELY GORG! SHE LOOKS LIKE CLAIRE HUXTABLE! The sista with the dreads is beautiful too! I am happily a beautiful chocolate sista who loves me very much! Thanks for watching Ntombi. It would be great if all women felt comfortable with themselves. My hope and prayer is that more and more will start to have more confidence 🥰
It’s all about ones overall outlook on life. I speak and think of my gray as “streaks of wisdom”. I don’t hide or lie about my age because I also, live by the motto “birthdays trumps memorials every time”. And, if one thing life as thought me is confidence is the most attractive posture one should always try to exude, folks around you quickly pickup on that and will treat you based on that radiance.
Bayyyybeeee~!!!! “birthdays trumps memorial” You said that sis. When my clients complain about their age or talk about they getting to old I tell them ‘ever considered the opposite’ 🤔🤫. And yesss that confidence makes you GLOW AND FLOW! #gograybechic
I cannot believe how much I LOVED this video!!! I don't usually complete long videos, but, I absolutely could NOT stop watching this one! First, I always tell my age Second, when anyone refers to the word, "aging", I state that aging=living long! And I say that I hope they do as well (live long) I was very glad to stop coloring my hair My gray was growing only in the front, and I hated it The fight was tiring! Retouching every week! I used henna, which was VERY time consuming When I stopped coloring, I started wearing a wig I've been wearing it ever since(about 10 years) Lately, I've been wanting to wear my gray, since so much more has grown in This video has inspired me to go for it! So much was said here that I picked up on I recently developed arthritis in my hip It's very painful, and it causes me to move slower ☹️ People noticed, so I would refer to it often🤷🏾♀️ I'm going to stop doing that! My thought was, It's nothing to be ashamed of I never looked at it as though it was making me seem older than I am People are always shocked when I say my age I'm thinking that, once I wear my gray, they won't be so shocked I'm known for my style, so I won't have to change that I, too, love heels I just don't wear them very high But they MUST be stylish Good, pointed toe pumps, sling backs, etc I'm looking for the quiz you spoke of I would love to take it Thank you so much for this video I'm going to look for more videos by you, right now About to subscribe! Keep up the wonderful, uplifting work you do! We need more beautiful women, like you, who are in our age group (I'm 65), doing videos like this one! Blessings on blessings! 🙌🏾
Heyyy girl somehow i missed this message. Wow sooo glad that this video inspired you! I love it that you are already confident about your style and learning to love your gray hair. The aging =living long is huge gonna have to use that one!! Blessings with your physical challenges and yesss speak more love and positivity and DO YOU!! Thanks for subscribing to our channel we appreciate you and the comments you leave!! Was About to send you the link for the quiz and figured out that I need to update the link I’ll get back to you soon with the link. Thank you!🙏🏾❤️
I thoroughly enjoyed this video and I am so glad I came across this video. I am 42 but have had gray since I was 7(family genetics). I am trying to embrace my now salt and pepper hair more because I have found that, coloring my hair only last for about a week before they start to pop back in around my edges and the majority of my head. The makeup tips and clothing tips were most helpful as I have found that, I have my clothing style go due to working from home and not going out much. Ladies, your words were so encouraging and I look forward to even more content. You have a new subscriber😊
LadyJ I am sooo glad that you enjoyed the video and glad you came across it as well. Thanks for watching!!! Yes my clients get their hairline colored like every 2-3 weeks. That’s the area that goes the fastest. It’s like you leave the salon and you’ve never got it colored…lol! Glad that the clothing and makeup tips helped you! And I’ve been in athleisure tooo long as well but love putting on my heels and getting dressed up for events. Thanks for becoming a subscriber ♥️and more amazing content to come ♥️#gograybechic
I am 72 years young. I was a jazz artist, regional theater actor and an AT&T corporate manager. I've had my sexy 60s, I'm in my sassy 70s, looking forward to my exciting 80s! Oh did I mention that I have MS? I am aging like a fine wine and loving every moment!
Thanks for sharing. I'm 77 and have had trouble with "looking OLD". I gave up coloring my hair five years ago, I soon had a full head of white hair. HOWEVER, about 2 years ago I began seriously losing my hair -- now I've only half of that hair, very frustrating and have had no luck with finding a hair stylist who can offer informed and honest advice on styling and/or products (that won't turn my remaining hair yellow) -- still trying. Even, and maybe especially, the other ideas on fashion, attitude, etc. soooooooooo helpful! Maybe, just maybe, I can now begin looking into the mirror and though, in my head, I mentally think I'm still a young woman I won't be shocked when I see that seriously older woman has jumped in front of me staring back!!!!!
Thanks for watching Nanette! ❤️🙏🏾I truly believe that you will take the necessary steps to take your look to the next level. What area or city are you in? Maybe I can help u find someone in the area. Wow!! Just seen your channel today. While laying up with the covid😏🙄😂..God is a healer though. So I am so glad I saw this I decided to stop coloring my hair in 2020 and so glad I did. I love my grey hair and this is such a help and inspiration especially for us melanin ladies. I have embraced the beautiful me at 54. And my husband loves it too. I am subscrbing to your channel this is the one for me.
YAY!!! THANKS Veronica I am so glad you found us as well. So happy to have you. And sending my virtual prayers and blessings 🙏🏾♥️for miraculous healing. I’m extremely happy 😃 that I’ve discovered your videos. This one alone has blessed my soul to the highest level of loving myself. My Mindset”, EVERYTHING! I’m 62, retired and I have beautiful short gray hair… Thank you ladies ! Thank you! ❤️💕❤️ I played this video over and over! THANK YOU FRIENDS…. 🌹
Rose…I am sooo happy that you discovered our videos as well. I always feel like we can all learn from other women that is why I love to feature other women on my channel. I am so excited that this was so inspirational and shifted your mindset a bit. Rock that beautiful hair and again THANK YOU for sharing it really means a lot 🙏🏾❤️
I have just come across your video. I'm embarking on the grey hair journey myself. I lost my mum earlier this year but whenever I look at her photos, I know I'm doing it right! She wore her grey hair with pride in her 50s, & heels, & she had a stylish wardrobe. I've even adopted a few outfits from her... I hope I can do them justice! Thank you for sharing your tips. I'd like to add one but its not grey-related. I had a great PE teacher who was black & also an ex- ballet dancer. She always said, "posture carries you through your life". She taught us girls to visiualize an invisible string on top of your head, & if you felt like you were slouching, you pull the string up. When asked my age I just say the number-nothing else. Regardless of what age we are, we need to uplift, not put down. To all your supports... stay fabulous whatever your age x
That gave me chills girl I felt that deep in my soul blessings to mom!! ❤️💃🏾her spirit lives through us!! Yess we need to pattern after here and yesss stand tall even if you’re short!! Be BOLD!!!! This has been a very informative conversation concerning older women and stepping it up in every way form and fashion.. I would like to thank you ladies for inspiring me to have a different mindset about aging. I will most definitely be changing a lot about my daily routines and how I once went about making decisions.
Hi Kay thanks so much for watching. ❤️so glad that you enjoyed and was inspired and empowered by this video. Feel free to join our FB Community (Grown Girls Go Gray) link is in the description and comment section. 😀
At 68, I'm 4 years older than my grandmother was the year I was born. My favorite photo of her was taken at my 1st birthday party. She was seated on a couch with 8 of her 9 grandchildren gathered around her. But what always strikes me is how different we are at similar ages! She, her hair back in a bun, a skirt of a "decent" length (she never wore pants) and sensible (clunky) shoes. Me? I wear tshirts and jeans and my sensible shoes are sneakers. I'm single, no children and wear my hair in a high ponytail, twists, twist outs or tucked under a cap because I have places to go and people to see, LOL. Lyn was right, we are not our moms and grandmas!!!
I love my gray hair and I am 80 now. I am Muslim, so I wear pretty scarves. Ignore mean female telling you to dye your hair. Always do you. I do not wear makeup. My husband loved my natural look. I love Hawaiian men shirts, long black dresses under my shirts, and black slacks. I wear Vans. I am 5 9. I love youtube, and 50 to 90 music. I love AshleySaysso on youtube, and the older stars. Please keep written, audio and video journals.

I'll tell people I'm 62 peaceful and humble and loving life...and because of my grandmothers, Rosa Parks, and the model from Fenty with the beautiful long hair inspire me to embrace my beautiful silver unique hair. Great video!
Thanks Angela for watching appreciate you. Happy lovin life at 62🙏🏾❤️ Yes we have so many ancestors that look/looked amazing with their beautiful silver strands! And honey that Fenty model is 🔥
Thank you for this video. What kind of shampoo do you recommend for gray hair. I'm 56 and have a few gray strands and I don't plan on dying my hair. I have locs for almost two years now. I love your pixie cut.
Hi You’re so very welcome and thanks for watching! We appreciate you! Yay for not dying took me a long time to say that lol! I love the Maison 276 Haircare system But I also use the Design Essential Brand for me and my clients. They have great moisturizing/sulfate free shampoos and also very good moisturizing conditioners.
I needed this. I will be going back to the office soon. I’ve been natural for ten years and stopped coloring my hair since the pandemic and I love my grey but I need a hair style other than my Afro. I agree with dressing how I feel which is sexy and confident even at soon to be 58.
Yesss Lillie sooo happy you are here and inspired by our video! So glad that you are loving your gray and maybe your fro just needs a lil more shaping with more style to it. Love you enjoyed and thanks 🙏🏾
This video definitely fed my soul. I'm 55 and almost totally Grey at this point but absolutely love it! Lynn gave me renewed life with her gorgeous Grey locs as I had them for 17 years myself until about 2 years ago. Going Grey is a lifestyle in its own and I feel it's God's natural highlights. Keep up the positive vibes ladies and thank you for your uplifting forum.💋🖤

Thank you both so very much for your positivity . This is the spirit of my Mama.I’m just thinking of transitioning since 2022. I’m so tired of a society that had pushed women aside and forgotten us. I still love and value me. I want to be like you all!!
You are already like us sis just take a few steps outside your comfort zone and express who God made you to be a little bit more! I’ve been there most of my life but had to ‘do it afraid’ whatever that is for you!! ❤️🙏🏾 #gograybechic
Hello Silver Hair Sisters, I have just begun the transition from dyeing my hair red to embracing my grey hair. It is really tough but trying not to break and go color. Thank goodness that I have found your channel. Please sisters give me the encouragement because some days I am ready to run to the store to buy a box of color. In my mind I want to truly go grey but sometimes I feel that I want to color. Not. My husband is my biggest supporter but that darn little voice keeps singing in my ear, color, color. Please send love and encouragement.

Just recently found your post & so had to subscribe…I was embracing my hair and growing out…long story semi-short lol…it was growing in naturally fab during Covid but due to unexpected stress ….it broke off. It hasn’t gone back the same…fortunately, I luv rocking a short or buzz cut but of late I haven’t been rocking it as I could. Your video with your guest was exactly what I needed for a PICK ME UP! The tips were ON POINT👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😄 from you both!! I WILL watch again…soon & recommend…soon lol. THANKS Miladies😎😎 You both ROCK🤩🤩 One of things that stood out to me…wearing what you like, not for your age but it’s they manner you wear it…that’s the key! Additional…not trying to be young but distinctive. There were many more points I could mention, etc I probably be back to mention them later😆

I needed this, I was born with gray hair and I started dyeing my hair at the age of 15. Long story short dyeing my hair from 15-48 my beautiful gray was not as bright as it should be. I had to get advice from my mother and sister on bringing brightness back to my gray.
@@tagteam1446 first off she said to stop putting dye in it, then she said start off with Shimmering Lights, but be careful because you could end up with purple hair and use yellow out. That advice brought life back to my hair. Now looking at the owner's hair, her products appear to be better.
i remember this hair stylist telling other women in her salon that she wanted her mother to dye her gray hair because it made her look older and her face looked young for her age. i agree mindset is everything. i think its not trying to look younger or older. now for me it's about looking like me. a lot of women don't want to wear their gray hair. you hair can be red, brown, black, blonde or blue but if you feel old in your body it's going to show up in your body language. walking especially outside, yoga and pilates makes your body feel flexible, strong and limber. a balanced diet and plenty water will make you feel wonderful.
Yes my co worker was like you need to color your hair I said I am not worried about my gray. I inherited from my late maternal grandmother side of the family. I got tired of wash color down the drain.
Thanks for watching. She bossy lol!!!😂🤣 YOU DO YOU SIS! ❤️🙏🏾 Want more support and excitement? Consider joining our FB COMMUNITY facebook.com/groups/growngirlsgogray/ 👩🏾🦳🧑🏿🦳👩🏽🦳 #gograybechic

Where have I been? Missing these outstanding, earthy, loving yourself, inspiring segments? I’ve been wearing wigs for at least 15 years off and on. More on than off though. 😁😄😁😄 Just not confident enough in myself to “let it be”. I turning 65 shortly and was blessed with some really good genes 🧬. Honey, they are ready to be much more appreciated than ever before. 🙎🏾♀️ Thank you so much for the encouragement, love and insight! Love you sisters!🌸💖🥰💄
I feel you Sis! I'm 65 as well Been wearing wigs and head wraps for years! Very stylish, but, I WANT TO WEAR MY HAIR!!! 😩 This was very inspiring to me I hope I will stay in this mode and, like NIKE says, Just Do It! Please let us know if you move forward with it I will do the same Blessings on your journey Sis! 🙌🏾
@@gograybechic I wore my hair out last week, and, I'm sorry to say, I hated it! See, I don't have the lovely head of gray hair that I'm seeing here Mine is only in the front, and that goes about halfway(or less) back The rest is still a dusty ash color with some gray in it It looks weird Almost like I dyed my edges grayish white My hair is also very fine and low density When I styled it, you could see right through it! 🥺 I trimmed my ends (actually about an inch) The next week, I tried again This time I did a puff on top Still see through, and it became very tangled I had to trim it again I moisturized, flat twisted it, and put it right back under my wig Maybe I'll try again when the front gray reaches farther along For now, it's a fail 🤷🏾♀️😩👎🏾 I know that people will say, "Don't hate your hair" , etc I understand, but, I also want to be real about how I feel It never looks good to me So I will continue to take good care of it, as I've always done, but it's staying covered for now😞
@natural7ly Awwwwww 😌😏sorry to hear that Are you shaping it yourself?? Maybe you should consider getting it professionally done in the future. And yess everyone’s gray just grows in differently. Unfortunately We can never predict where or how much it will grow in.
As I age I like to have color in my hair. I have my stylist just give me highlights. Never cover my gray. I love my All Stars and buy them in various colors and wear them with dresses and skirts. I got my first tattoo at 50. I wear my hair pressed, or twists or braids. I don't think I dress young I just dress stylish and classy! Just like you mentioned if I want to wear a short skirt (not too short) I will wear tights under the skirt. Now I just need to elevate my traveling game.

I really enjoyed this conversation. I'm 76 and no one tells me what I should ware. I'm called the fly great grandma. I stopped dying my hair many years ago. And I'm so sorry I didn't embrace my gray years ago. So glad I found you fabulous ladies.
I realized other people's problem with my hair is a manifestation of their fear of getting older, blah, blah blah. Not my circus, not my monkeys. I love my hair. I rock a side part in honor of Frederick Douglass or Freddy D as I call him😂

Greatly agree with your point, “Create a new sense of aging” Absolutely agree 💯💯 Age is what you speak and think! I hear people in their 30s say they are old/getting old. Keep smiling, laughing and growing. Take care of yourself and let the stress go!! Of course, gotta take care of the body inside and out!

Hey Diane thanks for watching!!! Yessss that’s what’s most important is to feel good NOW look good NOW!! The last is behind us with so much love, light and life ahead of us!!❤️🥰🙏🏾
I joined your crew just by one sentence that's so me "don't dress your age". I don't dress my age because it's harder to find stylish clothes so I dress youthful but classy. I do not follow the age rules and put the question back to the person who has a question when it comes to my age, first "why is my age a factor that you need to know, crickets?" Wonderful video.
Hey Terri yesss girl ain’t nobody got time for that ishhhh!!! Lol!!!! ♥️🤣 We are too fly!!!! Thanks for watching and love your energy! ♥️💪🏾 JOIN OUR COMMUNITY 👇🏾 for more inspiration and support facebook.com/groups/growngirlsgogray/ 👩🏾🦳🧑🏿🦳👩🏽🦳 #gograybechic
Some of your tips are cool but as I listened to the video, I began to realize that 27 years seperated us in true thoughts, while I can use one or two, I am 80 and I get smiles and love from those who, don't see 80 years , but see the grace of GOD that I don't look my age!!! Which is a gift from GOD, that I don't have wrinkles, and indeed ; I'm not trying to look YOUNGER, just not made -up.
Thankyou for these great tips. I enjoyed so much your conversation. You both are lovely ladies with such positive energy. I'm 24 months dye free and its been all about accepting and adapting to who we are becoming with this new freedom. Although its hasnt been easy because its a big transformation from inside out. Blessings for your channel 🙏👍
+O Luz thanks soooo much for watching 😊❤️ I’m so glad that you enjoyed our conversation. Lynn definitely speaks truth. Girlll yessss you said it!!! And I always say to women that it’s NOT just about gray hair it goes deeper. It’s mental physical emotional and spiritual!!! So glad that you are connecting with all those levels and feel confident and comfortable with your new lifestyle.❤️🙏🏾🥰 and I appreciate the blessings it’s definitely a labor of love each time I pu list a new video!!🥰
I embrace my silver-peppered hair. Firstly, I’ve embraced my age~OLD. I have 7 decades…counting. OLD & PROUD!📢 ACTIVE. HEALTHY & EAT HEALTHILY. LIVE & LOVE LIFE. LOVE PEOPLE. LESS MATERIALISTIC. HARNESS KINDNESS & HUMILITY & HUMOR. EMBRACE ALL GOODNESS. YES~FREEDOM IN EVERYTHING.🥰 (Excuse my yelling~I misplaced my hearing aid! 🤣) I do have a problem w/ some of society’s not embracing, nor even respecting the “word” OLD~as if it’s a bad “word”. 👀 We claim we “Love the Lord; Love God”, etc., YET many have a problem respecting the Diplomas of Life (AGE), which we’re Given. Sadly, there’s so much negative connotation on the word OLD. The state of being OLD is a Gift. If one doesn’t want to get OLD, then depart FROM the earth YOUNG. Me want ALL my experiences~however long it takes me 2B here.🥰 (This is really dedicated to my nieces, who don’t respect OLD ppl)
Thank you so much for this. I'm glad I found this video. I am looking for a fly hairstyles before my freedom. I have a young at heart style for clothing but stuck in a rut for a while. I will be turning 57 soon and love telling people. This video gave me the ammunition to go forward and update my closet and to wear whatever I'm comfortable with. Again thank you!
Hey Kay thanks for watching 🙏🏾! Sooo glad that this video inspired you to ‘take YOU and your look to the next level’ sounds like you have it in you it just takes a lil work to bring it out. And yessss it starts with that closet declutter. Get rid of clothes no longer serving you. I literally have 5 bags to give away currently. It feels amazing 🤩 make room for new beginnings! That’s the best way to get out of the style rut! YOU GOT THIS GIRL🥰 ❤️🙏🏾💪🏾 #gograybechic
It's not about the color. It's about the cut. I wish they can make a leave in cream with different colors. Purple, blue, brown, reddish brown. I've seen 21 year old women color their hair grey and they look old. I color my hair and sometimes I don't. I still have my swag at 60. People clock me for 40ish. It's attitude too. 27 year old men come on to me. 17 year old boys flirt with me. I say boy... I know you not trying to flirt with Grandma. They wink, I laugh 😆 and tell them go home and do your homework. They say yes ma'am. Have a sense of humor about it. I only entertain men older than me. I'm not attracted to younger men. Great conversation.
Ok Angela I loved loved loved this you’re right about the fact that it’s in the CUT!!! And the young girls now days definitely look older!! I was over her picturing u talking to the young men 🤣😂 YOU GO SIS!!! Love your energy!!!💪🏾💃🏾 Want more support and excitement? My natural hair hasn't turned gray completely, so I wear gray wigs. I love wigs. I started wearing them when my natural hair started to thin on top. I found wigs were right for me. I have thought about cutting my hair and wearing a pixie cut, but haven't done so at this time. Great channel, and you look amazing!😊
I love this! mindset is so true, i use to say, i'm not going to have a stroke when i was stressed or mad then i had a stroke! wow yall rock! Georgius! Beautiful! Stunning! Empowering! lady you give me life today!
I'm 71 with white/steel gray Sisterlocs that are 19 yo. I love my gorgeous silver mane (I can sit on it) and I'm proud of my gray--I earned it, and my face and hair is just the way it naturally has become. When it started going gray I let it progress and grow naturally. I don't give it a thought. I am everything I've pictured myself as being, and I love it. I don't need to call myself a "fox" or "hot." Here I am and here's what I look like right now. Walk tall and proud. Everybody doesn't make it to be an elder! Black don't crack and be proud of the lines you have, your face reflects the love you have for yourself.
I'm loving you FABULOUS ladies, because l am TOTALLY one of you! I am 74, but look much younger, or so people tell me. But l will tell you, because l look good "for my age"! l have long dreads and have been deciding about letting my gray hair (since 15), go completely gray. I'm an retired academic, an artist and a silver jewelry designer, a belly dance, l travel, and l love the BoHo life. I would love to hang out with you two Amazing Women...start a club or something, Please!

Hi ladies, just came across your video. It was very eye opening! I am 71 and only have maybe 10 grey hairs in my entire head. Thinking about dying my hair grey. People ask me what color is in my hair. Makes me feel out of place. You ladies are very uplifting! Will be watching ❤
I’m just seeing this a year later but I soooooo needed this in this very moment. I’m ready to embrace this grey and start telling my age confidently when asked.
Yes honey it takes time. So GLAD that you found this video. It’s our most popular and resonates with so many women. Blessings on your journey! GO GRAY BE CHIC CHILE!!!!!! ♥️🙏🏾💃🏾
It was not a mistake I came across your this video 😊! I'll be 60 in May, and I hadn't planned on taking this "going gray journey" so early. However, I kept meaning to make an appointment to get my gray touched up and one week came and went until and about the 4th week, I was feeling kind of comfortable with it and didn't care who saw it. No longer did I want to pay $ to cover gray that was going to show itself in no time! So, here I am on this journey and am on the hunt to find a style that fits me inside and out😊! Thanks for the tips!!!
So happy that I stumbled across this video!!! So refreshing..I did the chop and trying to learn to how to embrace my gray hair lifestyle. I’ve subscribed and look forward to ongoing support and be my best. ❤️
Thanks so much for this video. It was really encouraging. I finally embraced my gray hair rather than keep bleaching. It blondish red for years, and I’m letting it grow out naturally. I was just looking in the mirror the other day, and I saw a little more wrinkles on my face and little more you know laugh, lines and I said oh God, I look old. I woke up the next day and I was messing around on Pinterest and I caught this video and I must say that God really knows how to change your mind because I do believe he put this video in my path to say lady you’re doing great don’t worry about it.So ladies I love you thank you so much for this video and I praise God for putting you all in my path, I’ll definitely subscribe to your channel to God be the glory. God bless you. Love you both to life.❤
Wow this touched my heart DEEPLY 🥲God/The Universe continues to gives us clear signs. I thank God this video was your sign today! And you don’t even know how much this comment was my sign today! 💃🏾 I don’t post all the time because i love to come up with content that will reach the spirit of my audience. Sometimes I get a lil discouraged and comments like this truly confirm (ON A LARGER SCALE) that I need to keep going creating this content!!!! Love you too sis. And it’s such a blessing to know that these videos are reaching larger audiences. And funny I’ve been in the process working on posting all my links to my videos on Pinterest. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!!!!♥️💪🏾🙏🏾 And God Bless 💃🏾
Wow, thank you! Now that means a lot! We appreciate you sis. Next leave your feedback…I’d love to hear what you think about the tips shared in the video!!!🙏🏾♥️
Thank you and Lynne for the encouraging words. I have been trying to embrace my gray and not put anymore dye in it. So I’m wearing wigs and weave until more gray hair grows in because I don’t want to cut my hair into a short cut yet. I’m working on my mind. After looking at yourself all you life and seeing black hair it’s a huge change to see gray hair. Your looks just change so much. ❤❤
So glad that you are working on it sis. It’s definitely a change that you have to get used to. It’s not easy but once the confidence gets there it’s no turning back! Just take your time and give yourself some grace. You’ll get there when it’s time!
Thank you Beautiful Sisters! This was soooo uplifting. Made me feel a little less uneasy about my gray hair. It's going to take me a little time to feel completely confident but this is definitely a good start.
You are so welcome. So glad you enjoyed it!!!! And yesss that’s why we are here…to help a sistah feel good and embrace her gray with style and confidence. ❤️🙏🏾💃🏾 Want more support and excitement? Consider joining our FB COMMUNITY facebook.com/groups/growngirlsgogray/ 👩🏾🦳🧑🏿🦳👩🏽🦳 #gograybechic
Hello I really enjoy your videos. I will be cutting my locs in 24 hrs.🤗 Top of head my hair is thin, will be wearing tea. Three different textures of hair. Any suggestions?
Awwww thanks so much appreciate you girl! And what I would say is that even though you will be rocking your twa keep the top a bit fuller/longer if possible. Doesn’t have to be really long but just a bit to help with the thinner areas. Keep those sides and back a little more tapered to give it more style…And this is just me speculating what it may look like but without seeing it it’s not easy to tell or give the best advice. But hope that helps a little bit.
This was soooo inspiring & encouraging I am getting there with that mindset part. Getting busy doing some things which I've never done before to occupy myself. You 2 ladies look so good, so beautiful. So we all can do the same for ourselves!!!!
Thank you for watching and glad that it was inspiring for you. 🥰 Yeah that mindset we have to work on everyday its so important! 😌We appreciate the. Compliments! 🥰♥️ #gograybechic
Graying, gray patches in the front, but I embrace it. No face wrinkles so it tickles me how folks stare tryin to figure my age cause my hair don’t match my face and my stride😅. I’ll keep it until I’m tired of looking at it.
I had a double mastectomy and I talked about being empowered and encouraged the women to be grateful for life , then I had a knee replacement that left me walking with a limp , I began feeling betrayed by my body. I thank you for this video.
Prayers and blessings to you. But thank God you are still here!! Fix yourself up the best way you know how sis and love you no matter what!! I’m sending you virtual hugs 🤗 good energy and lots of love! ❤️ 🙏🏾💃🏾
