There ia no hard rule like that depends on the the bidy shape and your comfort, thin pleates gives neat look and gives perfect shape, you can drape as pwr ur comfort

hi mam, aapne bhot accha phnna sikhaya..loved ur way of explaining.. 1)mre pas silk ki saree hain jinki thickness itni hai ki pleats pe safety pin lg nhi paati.. koi solution hai kya mam. 2)mre pas ek saree hain jiski width km aa gyi hai by mistake.. mtlb andar tuck krne k liye bhot km hain .. to uska kya sollution hoga...
