I think that texture paint just solved my FDM printed titan issue. Thanks and subscribed

Hey Stephen, thanks. I'm not sure if I mentioned it in the video, but that is one of the best uses for the product IMO. With one of my Grim Tanks, it worked a treat to give it visual interest whilst making the layer lines invisible.

@@TheRaceForTerra You did mention it in the vid and I immediately looked at my half built and meticulously sanded Reaver and went Ahhhhhhhhh! Paint on order, Thanks again.

Hail Amy pushing this video idea :D The texture on the panel looks really fitting and gives adds to the finish; you've convinced me once more of another product I must buy. On a final note, if you like the oilbrushers, there is a AMMO Mecha light green oilbrusher that works as a nice verdigris finish (mayhaps add some blue to it, depending on personal taste). I tend to apply the oil from the oilbrusher with a tooth pick in parallel to using the brush, for smaller and heavier effects respectively.

Great to hear you enjoyed the video. Now you've made me buy stuff in turn! (Light Green Oilbrusher)

Very interesting video! Battletech models are very similar scale to Adeptus Titanicus roughly 1/285 & 1/300.

Great work. The texture paste looks really nice with the weathering. I’ll have to pick some of that up😁👍🏻

Love the texture paste and the sponges seem well worth trying - you cost me a fortune!! Happy holidays.

Hey TRFT, i stumbled over your Channel to get a Tutorial for painting legio krytos Titans and stayed for your weathering tutorials since i want to get to the next level of painting with adeptus titanicus. My question is: how does this technic of anti-slip/liquid mask chipping could work on two-tone armorpannels like for the krytos Green/white hazard stripes? I hope this clip isn't to old to get an answer here, Cheers!

Hi Furi, I always answer questions! I don’t think having two colors on one panel changes anything - I would use the same undercoat for both. For an extra spin, do check my AMMO U-Rust tutorial with the AT-ST (last published public video right now).

I may have missed it but at what point did you remove the mask that was protecting the panel while you did the trim? Just prior to the pin wash? Great video by the way, really useful.

Hi Gary, thanks a lot. Right before the pin wash, yes. Glad you liked the video!

Do you still use tamiya mark fit or do you just mostly use the strong version?

Hi Epi, I never used Mark Fit - always either Strong or SUPER STRONG! 😉

12:55 this is legit just a make up sponge. Not saying it's no good, make up sponges are perfect, but I doubt the price of this product is the same as a non brand make up sponge.
@TheRaceForTerra
@TheRaceForTerra Год назад
Totally agree - I have since switched to make up sponges (to be more precise, small triangular ones), and they’re not just cheaper, but better as well!
