Symptoms: leaking on the floor.
Tools: 1/4" nut driver, 5/16" nut driver, Torx 20 screwdriver, socket wrench with a 1/2" head, flathead screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, locking pliers.
This Whirlpool/KitchenAid/Maytag made Washer Door Seal replaces the following older part numbers on Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, Sears, and Kenmore Washers: W10237499.

Thank you for this video. My Maytag washer was a different model but the process is pretty much the same. The close up shots really helped me understand what the instructor was doing in detail. 👍

Incredible video. Worked perfectly. Only trouble was putting on the spring on the outer ring. As instructed I put a little soap on it but I think it may have been easier without since it made it slippery and difficult to stretch. it kept popping off and a little more friction might have been a good thing. i got a second hand to hold in the one side and it went right on. Excellent instructional video!!

My issue is the last stage of the seal being attached. I can get it to stick to the puter lip at the 12 o'clock position. But soon as i work either side it slips off. Do you know a good way to stop this from happening or you have another video on how yo do this please?
