I've done this plenty of time back in the days when they change nulifier to have magic damage boost. 6 nullifier and towers can melt but people realized after a couple of tries, it was unrank.

People really forget how much of Dota teeters at small points. Many, many players cannot play from the losing position, so their default is to become frustrated and blame others, instead of thinking of ways to fix what is broken. People won't modify builds despite being behind on gold, they won't look for picks despite people's high kill counts giving them big bounties, etc. One of the biggest game saving abilities you can have as a player is to get people like that to calm down and focus, instead of egging on their frustration. It's saved so many of my games to be a level headed mediator between potentially toxic or frustrated players being toxic. You have to back them off the cliff and get them to reconsider their gameplay.

In a or mal rated game or at least of a carry knows what he is doing this is actually something that will ruin the game for you. The creep displacement will heavily side with the dire letting their carry farm jungle AND get the creeps easily as long as his support doesn’t slack and provides vision. Meanwhile you will be forced further into their side and become in higher risk of getting ganked by the midlaner.

I did bought quelling blade 3 months ago when playing leshrac and did the same thing way of pushing. And my teammates be like ‘alert’ me of my stupid early game item buying quelling blade. Nevermind, they just dont get the point and told me stupid instead. Then today someone upload a match playing leshrac pushing by buying the quelling blade. It does make sense right for what i did

Quelling Blade costs 130 gold and renders this strategy completely useless. Though, at lower MMRs you should be able to get away with it quite reliably.
