For heaven sake, stand up to the bully. (Actual comment censored 🙄 ) I had to deal with half a dozen bullies in school. If you stand up to the bully, you grow as a man, and your wife won’t leave you some day. If you pussy out and run to your uncle, you will have bigger masculinity problems than the bully to deal with. Bullies serve to toughen our boys. Nobody in my school ever walked away with more than a blackeye, or a bloody nose from an encounter with a bully, except Sebastian. He had an encounter with a psychopath.
Luckily I’ve never been bullied, people see that I can stand up for myself so they just don’t try i suppose. People who do get bullied, make it clear that you think of the bully as a harmless fly. When they say something or do something, shake your head and go back to what you were doing before. Say like, “Sorry, I was (insert task here-ing). What was that?” And act like it’s no big deal.
