Here's another few tips that he didn't bring up (small tips make a big difference): - Whenever someone front dashes at you, don't just block it and then hit them. Block it and then go behind them, then proceed to hitting them; this basically makes it so any baits they did with the dash don't work (example, dashing from far enough away that when they dash at you and you block it, it doesn't stun them, so they can just block when you punish them). - When fighting a passive player, always be aware of spacing. Passive players tend to stay out of sidedash distance to lure you into the M1 catch. Try to play more passive than them; they will eventually give up and start playing aggressive, or they will continue their passive, and the fight can last for a while. - Preblocks: this is one of the most important things, and he didn't bring it up. Basically, when you know that the person you are fighting is going to circle dash behind you, you block your back before they do it and then you proceed to punish them. - Learn 3-m1 sidedash into dash or uppercut dash. These techniques are crazy broken, and just doing them once in a combo can make it one shot. If you add slow/timed m1s, then you'll get on another level, because if you use both of these techniques, your combos are going to take a lot of time to do, which will make it so your moves come out of cooldown and you can even make infinite combos.
A lot of the things that u taught me WORKED! Thank u also the thing I have trouble with is the m1 side dash I tried it but I always fail at it maybe its cuz I’m on mobile
Nah bro made better guide than i see anyone make i thank u from my bottom of my heart for the tip bcuz of ur tip i became good and i have 28% chance to defeat teamers and 40+ or 60+k kills
Another this he forgot to mention is how to combat certain play styles For example, a passive plsyer usually likes to stay reasonably close to bait you into an m1 catch or block, or moves out of your range to make your attsck easily blocksble. To combat this, you can use m1 catch baits, which is basically like feinting a side dash and then performing an actual side dash. You could also use a hook side dash to get around the m1 catch /block. And against a passive player, your forward dash is pivotal since its very hard to counter if done perfectly. It may also help to use block breaking moves or flying downslams, however, i would reccomend only doing these at very close range and extremely fast as passive players usually try to regain distsnce as fast as possible On the flip side, if you are against a very aggressive player, maintain distance and use techniques like the forward dash prediction and ghost blocking/m1 catching. Finslly, unpredictability and adaption is very important. If you stick to one play style your opponent can notice patterns and adapt to you. To get around this you can switch up between aggressive and passive and also use various types of dashes and side dash from both directions.
Another common mistake I see is that people always aim to go behind their opponent with their side dashes. This seems like the smart option since you can counter block, but pros will pre block and counter. Also players tend to waste alot of there dash distance by trying to curve around their opponent, making them susceptible to m1 catches and counter plays. Players like materia and Lord heaven vary their side dashes at close range. This is because there is always pressure on ur opponent at close range and they will likely either hold block or try backwards dash and be punished by the stun. First you have to gauge if your opponent is going to block or try regain distance, and then decide whether to go for a side dash behind them, a close range hook dash or a perfect forward dash (if they decide to try regain distance)
I was looking for videos and the videos were filled with information that 90% of the players knew, but this video showed me the real secrets. Thank you for the info
Fun fact: if. Your hp is low your dashes are shorter keep that in mind in certain situations Side note: this man is very underated show him some love and respect.
1:11 it's looks like another variation of sidedash, but it's the other thing. Thing i am talking about is long-arm dash. this type of sidedashing pretty easy, but very useful 🤓
1 more thing that the amount of health u have affects ur side dash and back dash ONLY not forward dash, so if ur low u'll have short side and back dashes
As a Demon level threat I wanna give a tip: When you front dash to someone I recommend jumping then a front dash. This hits there hitbox from the back stunning them of course, then your capable of hitting a combo.
Another tip is to forward dash just out of reach of hitting them so they block, but whilst you forward dash hold F to instantly block and m1 afterwards (they will probably block and attempt to m1 because of your forward dash)
aoi(a youtuber who films funny videos against toxic teamers) or somebody else did this technique and somebody commented on it, I thought I was fhe only one who knew it, its veru useful
another tip used from you yourself is camera position, you forgot to point it out but just when anilyzingh your gameplay you control your camera perfectly
my tech is basically ragdolling ur opponent and getting a front dash distance from him so you can time it and suprise him with a dash, nobody uses it yet its so unpredictable and good
i guess my natural playstyle is aggressive because whenever i try playing passive and start guarding for too long, the opponent very easily gets behind me and punishes me for holding onto the f key. whereas when i play aggressively and constantly try to get behind my opponent, it creates pressure and they have less breathing space. i also like to spam backdashes just to throw them off even more.
Fun fact (i think this still works) if you are a saitama user and fighting a garou if you are going to use normal punch immediately turn back incase the garou player will use a counter then you can easily know they yave counter on cooldown and proceed to finish a combo
As a dragon lvl treat, let me give u a tech, I was one of the first 50 player of tsb so its sure if I’m skilled anyway, when ur opponent dash toward u, do like if u were booking but at the last second, do ur counter (if u have one) or if u don’t this tech ain’t gonna work.
Dw I gotcha u so.... Uppercut dash is hard now in theses days bc of Christmas update made Kyoto combo catches is hard for now and same reason of uppercut dash if u wanna do it Just do m1s but before u hit mini uppercut make sure to look to the right by 20 or 30 angle and then instantly forward dash into 180 and try to go under him if u hit it correctly U must to side dash to catch them but don't be slow against garou players or otherwise get parried but other characters is meh ur fine with it expect Garou is risky to being countered and that's it (also depends on ur ping and ur opponent ping)
there is only one problem that when u gotta predict the m1 baiting, the other player always side dash behind me, What should i do in this type of situations?😅
Good question, it depends on how your opponent plays. If your opponent tends to not side dash around you and tries to hit you, m1 baiting would be very effective. However if your opponent tends to side dash around you often, you’re better off not using m1 baiting.
theres an issue about console players is cannot hit from behind and bad side dashes which is pointless against pc players and i had to use front dash for attack and side for dodge and i had to use easy unescpable combo as a garou
