Maxing out ads walking speed on guns is absolutely noticeable in first person imo. Feel like I’m flying around with the ak Although I will say that the reduction to ads speed and sprint to fire is not worth it to fully max out strafe speed. I typically do small vert (less strafe but increase ads) lightweight stock and QuickDraw grip to negate all the ads and stf loss while still getting +30% strafe speed

Is there a max mobility beyond which no more attachments will stack? I know those graphics bars that show how much stronger or weaker your current attachments are making your gun in each category aren't necessarily accurate, but these bars will max out before all possible mobility attachments have been applied to the gun, making me wonder if mobility may be capped?

That's why this game is unplayable to me. I want to like it but I can't. I'll hit someone with like 6 shots from a AK47 and he'll gun me in what feels like 2 bullets it'll show his health and he'll still have like 40+
Actually, about the aim assist Like MW2019 & MWII, if you sprint, it gets rid of the crosshairs on the screen, and for some reason, that disables the aim assist I hope they fix this issue
@@paulkdragonI keep trying to test this and not once has aim assist deactivated. It’s always ready to go. The only time I lose aim assist is when a spider bot attaches to my face.
@@paulkdragon I’m on PC. I made my buddy test this as he’s on PS5 and he also says that his aim assist only disappears on spider bots. Something I’ve noticed is that hip fire aim assist is weaker than ads aim assist but it isn’t by much.
Me and my shooting buddys find the up and really funny because more often then not a right handed shooter with a fuller auto will shoot up and left very strange thats why your taught to strafe left because thats your enemys right just strange😂
Could you do a by gun statistic for TTK? For example the MP7 will give you one less shot to kill with the heavy barrel but the rapid fire barrel also increases ttk
I've been saying this since day 1, glad there's now data to prove it. Also, regarding rapid fire attachments, to me it seems like they only reduce recoil on Assault Rifles (didn't try any of the semi auto guns) when you're not doing any kind of aim input (right stick or mouse), but as soon as you do an aim input, recoil goes back to being increased like it should. On SMGs and Pistols, it never helps your recoil.
My problem is I am dead before I can even ADS. Opponents can run away before I finish the kill or it takes half a mag and then I get killed reloading. I have followed tips for settings but I don’t feel like I have aim assist at all. Your clips show 2 maybe 3 kills before a reload and no other player jumping out at you with inst kills. I am liking this game less and less each day
Play slow and hold lanes. Have your gun aimed and ready and then switch spots and hold another lane and you’ll be more prepared to stay alive longer get more kills.
Have they made any adjustments to the XP system yet? The main reason I haven't played more is just because it's such a pain to unlock guns & attachments
Mark Rubin confirmed that in an update soon weapon lvl requirements will be cut in half, so instead of 3,000 xp for 1 level itll be 1,500 xp for primaries, and from 1,000 xp to 500 xp for secondaries. Should be significantly easier once that update drops in a short amount of time

@@BwoodlyyHard to gatekeep at below a 2kd. Besides. Rapid fire sucks on a lot of the guns. Doesn’t do shit for the AK and MP-7 yet people will swear by it when it only lowers the ttk by .02 in most cases. Meanwhile heavy barrel out here decreases the ttk by .10 on most guns and .06 on the Ak. MP-7 gets a nice buff at .08. There’s only a handful of guns where rapid fire does anything like on the RPK and M60. ACR gets a decent buff of .04.

Turn off input based matchmaking and your problem is solved! I personally dislike playing against M&KB players as a controller player so I turn it off more often than not.
@@TheXclusiveAce I play ranked more than casuals, there is no option for ranked in game, and also the major disappointment come from COD. Turn it off? We turn it on to matchmake with similar inputs.
For the longest time, I've been using the reinforced stock (-15% ADS move speed) on the M44. And I couldn't figure out why I was doing so badly compared to the TAC-50, the more sluggish sniper rifle. When I slapped on the lightweight stock, it was a 35% difference in ADS move speed, and instantly I was doing better, just like that, like magic. This stat has been overlooked by me.
Should use small vert grip nstead of leather wrapped grip because it only gives you 5% less ads walking move speed and now downsides other than hip fire spread.

Ace what about if switch the leather wrapped grip for the small vert? It has 5% less ADS movement speed but it also helps with ADS speed too, could be a nice alternative for ARs where you don't wanna hurt ADS speed more than it already is
Hi Ace, not sure if you're aware of this: Slide-jump-strafing is extremely effective, because your ADS and sprint-out times are lowered*, but also because your ADS Movement Speed is irrelevant (until you land). Only regular Movement Speed makes a difference. Therefore, I personally only care about ADS Movement Speed on my mid to long range builds. Up close with SMGs is all about Movement Speed. *If you run for a while beforehand, sprint-out time seems to be instant, but there's some sort of a cooldown. Even when it's not instant, you can get rid of your sprint-out time by sliding that duration. ADS speed is faster than aiming from a sprint, but slightly slower than aiming while standing still.
The so called "COD killer", well this game will be dead and forgotten before the end of the year 😂😂. Just look at the stats dropping like crazy already.
The most important part you missed is, the hit registration is so bad in this game. That strafing and bunny hopping still works even when your tracking is perfect.
Yeah, I suspect part of the reason strafe speed is so good is that the fast back and forth movement breaks the game's ability to know where you are, effectively giving you brief moments of invulnerability, like dodge rolling in some games. If they ever fix the net code, that strategy may become less effective, but for now it's best to just use it.
Question does anyone think that the servers need to be worked on or the guns or health because I’m on console an I die significantly faster than I can get a kill an sometimes I get kills with less bullets hits so why does everything feel so inconsistent an I mean it’s constantly inconsistent so what needs to be fixed to deal with that because I just feel like I can’t be consistent with anything I use even if I use a gun I like for hrs
i wouldnt go with leather foregrip but with the small vertical one. 5% less strafe speed, but gives ads time and the negatives are hipfire which is ass anyway
Am I the only one who thinks XDefiant aim assist is somehow stronger like 70% of the time and the other 30% it feels like it's glitching? Like, tracking people when they are running from one side of the screen to the other, it feels like I have to do nothing compared to CoD. It's so strange.
This has totally changed the game for me. Could be a placebo and I'm just having a 'flow zone' day but I've been killing it today applying these tips and attachments.
Didn't know lobbies that don't actually shoot through every wall & shots actually registering existed. Every single game is the worst netcode & hit reg I ever seen no exaggeration, I play early in the day, during the week, to avoid double XP week & it still feels like the servers are overloaded. The incompetence of this dev team is something to behold I tell ya, I even streamed it for several hours on numerous occasions to prove that it's the most dog shit netcode & hit reg. This the only game where you can actually be good at the game but still end up going negative cause of netcode & hit reg💀
I've never been a Cod player but during my 80 or so hours in BOCD I managed to consistently stay above 1 k/d, often getting close to 2 (and even 4 on very rare occasions), but I just can't seem to scrape even 1 in XDefiant and it's been super demoralizing. Any tips? Edit: I used to main AK-74u
Before the wrap up section, do you mean strafing towards "their" right or ours? It is a bit confusing because if the recoil is going upwards and to the right, won't it make more sense that we strafe to the left (our left) since the weapon will be moving to "upward right" towards the enemy.
I feel it’s attachments that break games the players are too fast in games now and everyone thinks it sbmm when it players moving too fast with bad net code
Ive been using the vector with the heavy barrel and built it for max movement speed, and this gun is nasty up close. I move faster than using a pistol and the ttk is 27ms
Aiming is so weird in this game i can't aim for shit...... i mean even without targets sometimes I'm just trying sensitivity and stuff but man it feels weird....so don't tell me about me being used to aim assist.....

Is anyone suffer footsteps fatigue? Seriously after 2h of playing my head is about to explode from super monotonic bad sounding footsteps of my character I have to put my headphones down this need to be addressed this footsteps that our character make are waaay too loud

I'm curious, how much and often are you playing xDefiant? I notice myself hopping on everytime I have a bit of sparetime like 30 minutes. It is just so much more relaxing to quickly play compared to COD.
