One thing that a lot of people ignore but is vitally important: protect that positive battery terminal with a boot! I was a firefighter for 10 years, and on several occasions, I witnessed what would have been a minor fender bender turn into a full fledged car fire because the hood bent down and arced across the battery. A 75¢ rubber boot could have prevented that.
Love your videos! Easy to understand and to the point! Great job. I have a question what size fuses or fusible links (purple and red wire coming from the starter solenoid) do you run from the starter to the ignition switch? thanks again
You make it look so simple. I have a 1970 nova that I have been trying to figure out how the wiper blade circuit works for like the last 3 years. After 20minutes or so I give up. I never drive it in the rain anyway.
The switch grounds out the motor.. I have a video on it.. old video and very confusing.. Chevelle wiper motor.. but my 70 Chevelle wipers work perfect and I also added an electric washer pump
@@spyderyates4587 to start: run grounds to the motor body and switch.. in 2010 i had a 67 C10.. bad ass truck but i had the same problem with the wipers... i had no clue... never drove it in the rain
