This video is a demonstration of how to wire an 8pin timer relay, for both "on delay and "off delay functions.
in the video, two indicating lamps (green and amber) were used to represent the loads for the "on delay" and "off delay" functions respectively. In the video, the lamps are connected directly to the timer. This is because the lamps used need very little amount of current to operate. But this will not be the case, when the load needs a substantial amount of current to operate. In that case, a contactor must be involved.
