Can you also put a little piece of shrink wrap over the resistor it’s self ?? Or do you have to leave them bare and just wrap the whole thing in tape?¿ shrink wraps much cleaner look in my opinion
Hi there I am trying to add some resistor to the back of my old car radio I done some research and it shows I need to add 10 ohm resistor to speaker wire my question is how to add this to the speaker wire I have two wire (+,-) should I put it across these two wire or on each wire should I put a resistor. Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks Nick. Useful for me to know. I’m trying to remove a water in fuel sensor from my truck. The factory sensor activates the circuit after water creates a signal to the sensor. I think the sensor activates with water lowering the electrical resistance to about 40 kilohms. I’m thinking that if I wire in a 80 kilohm resistor, the active water in fuel signal should turn off. Let me know if I’m on the right track. Regards.
Would that be considered.. in parallel.. or .. in series.. I need to change an 8ohm speaker to a 4ohm. speaker.. the way it reads how to do it is slightly confusing
Hey I have a question. Does it matter what way the resistor goes? Like which side connects to the black and which wire connects to the white? And also do you HAVE to solder it?
Hey here is my call :-) can you make a video about adding a resistor to a loudspeaker box to increase ohm impedance for every speaker in the system ? Because old tube amp dosent match with new speaker ohm impedance.....
Yes I’m just baffled I’m putting my n a remote start on a one wire locking system it needs 3000 ohms resistor for lock and 7200 for unlock now do I wire the lock wire from remote start to the resistor then wire the other side of resistor to the one wire unlock/ lock wire please help
