I recently was given a wood burning kit and had no idea how to use it. I started watching RU-vid videos and I have to say your tutorial is the best! New subbie here because I think I will learn a lot from you. Thank you 😊
I recently got into the hobby and purchased the tools. I came across your page and have learned useful informations. I hope you're planning to make more videos in the future!
Very helpful could not understand the graphite paper versus making a stencil using pencil I get it now thank you so very helpful!!! Blessings to you and thanks again!!
Also, open a window and or have a fan blowing air around in the room for circulation. The smoke might be too strong for the artist and smoke detectors !
Hi I just started wood burning three days ago when I'm making lines or tracing anything I'm leaving dots, I'm obviously doing something wrong can you plz help me
This usually happens if you're going across the wood grain while pressing too hard. Lighten up your pressure. Also, if you are burning a line and your pen is perpendicular to the line, it's more prone to bumpy dots. turn your wood so that the pen is in line (parallel) to the line you are burning. Hope that helps!
Where can you buy images and does it have to be on a certain paper to do it the third way? Or do we print what we want on any paper and then transfer with the paper
Patrick Beal I've got a Hobby Lobby about 20 minutes from my house, I already have been doing art / street art for years so I've got a steady hand and pretty patient
Jason Freeman awesome! Hobby Lobby has some good kits. This is the one I started with: amzn.to/31zTogS. (Note, this link is from my site www.howtowoodburn.com and if you do end up buying from this link, the site will be compensated by Amazon. - just wanted to let you know in full transparency).
