Episode 27: Working On Your Mental Fitness with Stuart Holliday.
This week Lewis is joined by Sport & Business Psychologist Stuart Holliday. Stu is a Chartered Sport & Performance Psychologist with Olympic, Paralympic, and Premiership Football experience working for Chimp Management founder Prof Steve Peters (from 2013-2017). Since then, Stuart has run his own consultancy specialising in endurance sport, Endurance Mind Coaching (www.endurancemindcoaching.com), as well as consulting for Mindflick (www.mindflick.co.uk), and The Music Industry Therapists Collective (www.musicindus....
Together they look at the benefits of working on your mind, which Stu often refers to as mental fitness. Stu specifically links this to performance and Lewis puts his coaching hat on to give specific examples of where it has benefitted him personally in the coaching world as well as with some of the runners he has worked with.
