Hey thanks everyone for tuning in! MORE INFO AND RESOURCES BELOW: (Prior to recording this video I didn't have a whole lot of time to experiment with the shipping returns and progress the town as far as other people but I still played a fair bit more than the average casual so I really wanted to get an entry level guide out as soon as possible to help people who are on a tighter time budget or starting late by sharing what I did already know. I specifically avoided talking about shipping returns because I knew the little info I had at the time would be outdated soon. I will make a full guide video with all the stuff the community found out in due time.) For the specific requirements, perks and costs of the different town upgrades, refer to the Kingsmarch wiki page: KINGSMARCH WIKI PAGE: www.poewiki.net/wiki/Kingsmarch If you want to understand SHIPPING better, check out this written guide: WRITTEN SHIPPING GUIDE: www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/1effp3q/ultimate_kingsmarch_shipping_guide/ If you want to have an overview of which good corresponds to which shipping returns check out this cheat sheet: SHIPPING CHEAT SHEET: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gtB0hPJeVA2JolLddvlp_dXywDfMHGenzJ3O6bW7l8A/edit?gid=0#gid=0 Good Luck with your league start week!
A big thing you missed on Shipments is that what you receive is dependent on what you ship. So if you ship crimson ore, you will receive armor, but if you send another type you'll get weapons. If you send certain crops you'll get jewelry etc. Also when it comes to the bonus number, if you send the max on the bonus number of that item, you will receive a unique item.
@@flako9738 Sending out Ores/Bars gives different types of equipment, sending out food gives currency. Fulfilling the needs/desires of other towns and adding Thaumaturgic Dust acts as Multiplier on the returns. As someone else pointed out, there is some more specific information in Ziggy's video and once I had more time playing, experimenting and progressing I will also release a more in depth guide.
Super important!!! If you have smelting unlocked for a type of bar, and your smelters are all assigned to other types of ore and they have no ore to smelt, they will AUTOMATICALLY switch to another type of bar to smelt. This means that if you need a type of ore for upgrading in your town, the workers may get to it before you and smelt it, which means you have to go look for more ore. This is really frustrating - at least early on because its not explained at all anywhere! I had to unassign all of my smelting workers to get the ores that I needed for a town upgrade. Poor design.
Wait, you know that Thaumaturgic Dust is also a multiplier for the rewards in shipping right? Thats the biggest sink of it and the reason i can send 500k+ shipments quite often.
No, at the point of recording this video I didn't know anything about what to ship for what return. I had some rough ideas based on the few shipments I did but I didn't want to claim that I have figured it all out. The intention of this video was to quickly release a guide that gives a basic level understanding of how to use the league mechanic. Once I had a whole week with it, I will write and record a full guide video! Thanks for your input tho!
I'm really waiting for a video that goes over how to maximize loot with your shipments. I've yet to find a video that discusses that. Hopefully soon. All I've seen so far is conflicting information. I was told previously the higher risk the higher the reward, but from what you are saying, risk doesn't have any effect on reward?
Sorry if I was not clear about this in the video, I am unsure what the best strat is. I was trying to not be specific about how to maximize loot with shipments because I didn't play that much and I think noone right now knows the 100% undoubted best strategy. I will test and research and see what other people say and disclose that information. It's likely that the best average return does include taking some level of risk, yes, but I don't know whether that optimal risk to take is 20%, 30% or 50%
The streamers are keeping it secret. I have already discovered a guaranteed divine orb every shipment. They don't want their divines price to crash. Divines will probably be worth 5-10 chaos by the weekend.
@@krazzykracker2564 Your logic is flawed for 1 reason. Do you even know what a streamer is? it's somebody who broadcasts live in front of others. So how would streamers keep it a secret? LOL. Also, highly doubtful divine prices would crash, especially there are are map strats to run that give you 15 to 20 divine an hour. Also, another reason they wouldn't crash is because of the shipments being time gated. So it's not like somebody can get 100's of divine in a shipment in 30 minutes lol.
I saw discussion online regarding the shipping rewards. Apparently, the rewards are dependent on both the shipments you send out and the location you send them to. I am unsure of the specifics, but I think it's definitely something you should consider including in your full guide.
Dear sir, I would like to know where you live. This beautiful real life place. Where the people with the most skills make the most money. Thank you in advance!
i don't even taking any risk. i try this and on one run i have even that food shortage event happen and i lose all food item. all value of food go to 0. or ship get damage and lose half of shipment value. and for pirate boss. if you are not boss killing build just forget it you just lose 50k gold or all your crew and shipment. i rather ship small shipment with 0 risk
No, you are allowed to use macros. As long as you don't map more than one server side action to each individual button press, they are not against TOS. edit: just to be clear, AHK potentially allows for a lot of things that would be against TOS, but AHK in itself is not against TOS.
GGG still can't fix the game for some players and have never gotten in yet on the 3rd day. Really messed up. Can't even try this build. Heck can't even get into Standard.
It's an entry level guide with basic information on how to interact with the league mechanic, not a complete solution/cheatsheet/walkthrough. Sorry if your expectations weren't met.
