If you’re new to Geek Psychology, my name is Matt Sherman. People call me Sherman. I'm a personality type expert, life coach, hypnotist, author, podcaster, and course creator. I help mainly INFPs embrace their unique strengths and navigate life's challenges. Through practical strategies and deep insights, I aim to help people like you live a more fulfilling and authentic live where you can wake up and feel good about who you are and your impact on the world. In this video, I discuss the aspects and roles of the different cognitive functions, how they interact, and how they can benefit or harm an INFP personality type if not well understood or controlled.
I introduce you to the concepts of Introverted Feeling, Extraverted Intuition, Introverted Sensing and Extraverted Thinking, outlining their roles, importance, and tendencies in INFP individuals. By understanding these cognitive functions, you will be equipped to manage your thought processes, make better decisions, stay true to your authentic self, and lead a more fulfilling life.
Towards the end, I introduce viewers to the INFP Masterclass, an in-depth course that further explores these concepts and strategies. Now it's time to take control and fully unleash the potential of your INFP personality type.

I believe that you are stuck in your "Si" function too much. your Guardian tries to protect you based on your past experiences. You need to be more in you "Ne" (The explorer). Because the more you experience out there in the world the less "scary" these scenarious in your head becomes. Use your "Fi" first to know whats most important to you and then use "Ne" first before you start to overthink aka "Si". (See life more like a game thats supposed to be explored, and fun)

@@dstenbergyou just expand my mind, thank you so much!!!! So we can be conscious to use our own cognitive functions? At first i thought it was supposed to be come out neutrally

@@JamieMieLi Glad it helped 🙌 Yes, we can be conscious about our functions to help us understand ourself. "Fi" and "Ne" is our greatest strengths. And "Si" is sadly our most overused weakness. We use it so much because we are introverts. So "Fi" and "Si" work together too much. When really "Fi" and "Ne" should be the ones working together most. I thought this overthinking was normal and helpful. But it's not. Don't get me wrong "Si" aka our Guardian is good and tries to help us. But instead of using it 50% of the time maybe 15% is more helpful. 🙏 Hope this helps. Get out there and explore 🙌

Research has shown that gratitude's benefit can be increased when you consider how the things you are grateful for actually came about

A little bit off topic, but when I think of Ne doms, I think of going on an adventure. When I think of Fi doms, I think of going on a quest. Adventures are you going out to explore the unknown and figure out what your place in that unknown is Quests are when you already know what you want from the world, but choose to brave it to gain rewards. Both are rather beautiful ❤

Вы правы. Мне очень сложно разобраться в своих чувствах . Я боюсь сделать неправильный выбор и ошибиться..Постоянный конфликт между разумом и душой.. Спасибо!
