That's the way I do it until last year, then before I start wrapping the gift I lay both sheets of wrapping paper out on my large dining table and tape them together first. Being sure to match up the pattern and keeping the ends of the paper even. It works just like a solid sheet then and makes wrapping so much easier. Then like you I cover the seams with beautiful ribbon and add my embellishments. Sometimes they are Christmas greenery and an ornament for next year. Sometimes a beautiful bow or poinsettia. Those are my all time go to s for that special extra gift that says I love you . Your present is simply GEORGEOUS! Can't wait to see what you do next!❤❤❤🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️⛄⛄
That's exactly what I just did. I even matched the pattern in the wrapping so that the seam was impossible to see. Gluing the card on the wrapping paper is a cute idea tho.
I had to use 10 gift wrapping sheets to wrap an adult sized bike. It didn't occur to me that disassembling it and placing it into a box was an option. That idea just popped up while I was watching this video on how i can use the leftover wrappers from the bike in wrapping another gift. Sorry, just wanna rant. The video was helpful tho.
