What do you recommend for an opening and closing speech about a accident of an employee during his work at the top of a building. I am defending the side of the employer (defendent) against the employee.

What story do you recommend if you’re defending against a negligence claim

It depends on what your main argument is! If your argument centers around the defendant's actions being reasonable, even though they weren't perfect, tell a story to paint that picture. If you're arguing comparative fault, tell a story about an incident where the person at fault tries to blame someone else. There are lots of directions you can go, just make sure its customized to the case you're trying to put on!
