For those asking about not having a job for the experience part of a resume, just leave it out! just make sure that you mention that it would be your first job you were applying for, and therefore have no experience.

I really dig the wind noise and sniffing. Your information and tips should Land anyone a job in marketing and relations. Having a 14 year old voice is also helpful as it really emphasizes the solid foundation that only years of experience can achieve. In short, your video is the last word on the subject. Who would not advance their career at least to minimum wage using all this information? My god, so deep and concise. I may need to watch and listen to this over and over. Rich in information. I would be hard pressed to find everything I need in my career achievements. Thank you so much for wasting my time.

fellas, these days it's damn hard finding a decent job even with experience and a college degree. I graduated this year and I'm still looking for a full time job. All the jobs require 1-5 years of experience and the ones that don't are taken rgiht away. I share your frustrations, but it will be much easier for you guys to gain work in the future(hopefully). Be happy you don't have to pay back tuition fees and enjoy High School.

When a perspective interviewer looks over resumes he/she generally looks at it for about 7-10 seconds before deciding weather to proceed or not. You want your resume to 'sell' your skills and what you bring the table, not what you want out of it with 'I am seeking' like most people put in the 'objective' section. This style is for the more antiquated chronological resume form. It is recommended to use a hybrid or combination of chronilogical and functional formats. These highlite your skills.

Much more important than design is to remember to try and craft your Resume in a way that presents you as an Achiever as opposed to a Doer. Whoever happens to read your Resume must be left with the impression that you are the type of person who can get results.

Take what you can get as close to the industry you're interested in. Build experience from there. Your situation is common amongst college grads and has been for 20 years. Consider grad school too. Don't worry about debt. The economy is crap for everyone, so use this time to stay afloat and get an edge on the competition. When it comes to paying your tuition, you can negotiate. Banks will negotiate a schedule that you can afford vs one you can't. It's smart business. You have power.

Just to follow your Guide even further, I made sure to have a runny nose and keep sniffing during my interview. Oh also I brought a big fan in for that nice windy noise. I definitely made an impression thank you.

Okay, I get the gist of the video. Put down important stuff in your resume like your eduacation, skills, experience and your objectives and you should be good. Also don't forget to put name in bold and make it stand out to the employer.

@iyaka25 It depends on your experience, but typically 1-2 pages is pretty normal. If you are a student will very little experience, 1 page is sufficient. Many executives might have a 3 page resume, but not beyond that.

Experience can come from volunteering and interning at places that provide the products or services that you're interested in, and which might provide you with the skills you need to develop to have that job.
