The number of pages depends on whether you are writing an hour-long or half-hour long drama/comedy/dramedy. I just read “Save the Cat! Writes for TV” by Jamie Nash. I 💯 recommend it. Whether you know or have ever heard about Blake Snyder’s Save the Cat! story writing technique, this book will cover everything you need to know on how to apply these techniques to TV writing and more. Jamie includes 60 pages worth of beat sheets, which include many modern shows. He also includes a section on boards, outlines, and pitches.
I've been going through THE most bizarre stalking for the last 2 years and everyone who knows, says I should write about it. It's of the "don't fk with cats" variety of twists, turns and madness. Everyone who knows says, "oh my God, that should be a Netflix episode". I have no idea where to begin. Anywhere you can signpost me ?
I haven't seen the Notebook but the most realistic part (& one of my fave) is when they're by the car arguing and fighting and Rachel starts slapping Ryan and he starts slapping himself to prove how pointless her anger is. So good.
@@continuancepictures1518 man I can’t believe it did. I hope I played my part. They hired me to write a pilot and I’m about to hand it in thanks for your help
