This video helped me a lot with writing my Villanelle for my intro to creative writing class! With everything being online now, videos like this are super helpful! I liked your poem the ending was the best part I think. I am not sure it fits in your prompt but it could be turned into about how love has rough patches and can be worked through. The Villainous Villanelle. How hard is it to write a Villanelle? Well wouldn’t you like to know. The process is compared to going through hell. With the limited number of couplets you are trapped in a cell. Your lack of knowledge about the English language begins to show. How hard is it to write a Villanelle? Finding the right words can leave you fighting a beast to get to the belle. It’s like trying to find a Polar bear in a storm of snow. The process is compared to going through hell. However, when finished your heart will begin to swell. You have defeated this monster. So, how hard is it to write a Villanelle? The process is compared to going through hell.

……..Perfect Rhyme….. In Villanelle Format In my mind I'm sure I'll find a perfect rhyme. But as I feared there's nothing here but old tattered rhymes. Today is the day I hear me say that I find a perfect rhyme. I find in my mind what I thought was a sign of a perfect rhyme. But again I fear what I thought was here was just shattered signs of old tattered rhymes. In my mind I'm sure I'll find the perfect rhyme. I find in my mind a remembrance of time when I wrote a perfect rhyme. But I cannot confuse, for it already has been used more shattered signs of now perfect tattered rhymes. In my mind I'm sure I'll find a new perfect rhyme. Deep in my mind I seek to find that perfect rhyme. But it's clear there's nothing here after all those times still just old tattered rhymes. I'm sure I'll find in do time somewhere in my mind my perfect rhyme. In my mind I'm sure to find, maybe buried or even lost behind a perfect rhyme. But as I sit and read nothing fits the need just Awfully battered signs of hopelessly tattered rhymes. In my mind I'm sure I'll find a perfect rhyme. I struggled to find inside my mind the perfect rhyme. But as I looked through every book I can't count how many times just tattered rhymes. I was sure to find in my mind the perfect rhyme.
