This looks like a 4 paragraph model for an argumentative essay. How would you increase the number of paragraphs? Would you make each supporting reason it's own paragraph?
Yes, to write a longer essay you could write one (or more) paragraph for each of your ideas. You could easily follow something like this outline, each number being another paragraph: 1. Topic one 2. First idea about topic one 3. Second idea about topic one 4. Third idea about topic one 5. Topic two 6. First idea about topic two 7. Second idea about topic two 8. Third topic 9. First idea about topic three etc I think you can see how you could write more paragraphs. I wrote a lot of argumentative essays in college as a philosophy major. I think you should take a position, but you do want to consider the merits of the opposing side and come in with a response/rebuttal.
So informative. I have an argumentative essay on why online dating is a bad way to meet someone. I learn l need to include opposing view why some feel online dating is good and then why l support the motion. I really want to have 9/10 if not 10/10. Any more info pls?
