Fantastic video, very valuable content. I'm new to cold email and have been intimidated getting my feet wet. The holistic perspective provided was everything I needed!
The problem is that every time one of these videos pops up for email advice.. it's companies selling to other salespeople. So they have an immediate problem. I don't see any videos of other types of software that aren't for sales teams.
I tried this framework mentioned by Mike with engineers/data leaders and got quick results. And on my channel I interviewed sales reps selling to different buyer personas: finance, operations, marketing, engineers. So yeah we are on the same page here. But I’m mindful about and want to have sales reps from different industries.
I absolutely agree, most of this content is focused on selling to sales teams in software companies. Please explain how this would work selling to, for example, a German multinational manufacturer with €Billions in revenue and 25,000 employees
I want to use cold email strategies for insurance business. Does this work for prospects that don’t feel they have a problem or are in need in the first place?
I love bith guys The host is asking good questions The guest is giving away all the secrets and this is the information others are charged big money I saw this atleast 7 times Thanks for sharing Love from India
POV: Context: Hey Mike, saw you‘re looking for quality writers in your job insurance Insight: This usually means you‘re looking for quality over mass outreach Issue: it‘s almost impossible to track and replicate what‘s working CTA: have you looked into email intelligence before? P.S.: it provides you realtime analytics what‘s working within the team
Geat insights - new to cold email - have been framed with so many industry templates - Mike definitely puts a pause on how I see cold email automation now. Need to watch it again
bro thanks for the knowledge, i’m i’m just staring out my freelance emailing, i wonder will my email be banned after reaching certain day limit? what is the number if i use gmail? i send slightly different messages every time, not just copy pasting. but i don’t want them to be in spam section of others
@@RedRumble14 thank you so much! it depends, but 30-50 emails a day is okay. If you send more, you can be banned With Gmail it’s lower, but I never used a gmail email for cold emailing.
Would be interested to hear his approach on a completely cold account, no context on the persona, except what you see on his LI and what. you know of the company from research.
Great Value in this Video! You earned yourself a sub :) I wonder though, are all automations bad? What If I prep all the personalised follow ups in advance to each business and have them automatically send out periodically? Wouldn't that just be more efficient than if I were to send them out manually and keep track of it manually? Lets say I send out my initial personalised mails to 90 cold lead from lead gen list 1 on Monday and they will be in my pipeline for the next 2 weeks. On Tuesday I send out another 90 cold leads. That's 180 new leads to manage a week and from my calculations it would almost take me 20hrs a week to generate the leads, create the personalised mails, launch campaign, and manage campaign and that's with a hybrid approach where follows up are automated but manual responses to any show of interest. I can't imagine how long it would take me if I were to manually do everything. Wonder what's your opinion on this? 👀
This is great advice but still doesn't match up in terms of quick scalability. Mike mentioned that it takes him 4 minutes to write a personalized email. As a BDR at my organization, I am tasked to write about 60 emails a day. So 4 minutes each on 60 emails is 240 minutes which is 4 Hours. 4 Hours a day on emails and I also need to make 100 calls. Whew...
@@PreciousMorgan-i2i curious, so why do you need to send 60 emails a day? Because management told it’s 60? Did they explain the reason for 60? I get your point most of time sales leaders focus on quantity (100 calls and 60 emails a day) but it should be quantity and quality
Do an experiment and see if personalization yields more revenue. you may also discover that multiple people can be sent similar emails with low customization.
in the first Email. Do you guys have your signature on their so they can check your website etc.? or literally just text and let them make a short reply like "sounds interesting" or "tell me more" and in your follow up add a signature or a link etc.? im really new to cold email so if any of you have a good source where you get information like this i would highly appreciate.
If you can't get the persons personal email then sending emails are useless If its a service for a business its great but if its for selling products and not services its useless.and plus its not just few hundred you have to send out , to me its spam marketing.
