I never thought of chickens as a pet... I think they could be quite dangerous with their beaks and stuff? In my school in the US we had a hamster for a class pet. Another class had a lizard I think, and another class had a couple turtles. Personally I like the tiny turtles a lot, I had a pet turtle at home, they're super cute.

I have pet chickens but I don't really think they could be dangerous; but around small, excitable children they can get really freaked out and flap a lot. They don't bite, just jump and peck.

We keep chickens for eggs. We're not farmers or anything and we live in a fairly large city. They mostly run away from you and they've never pecked me or attacked me. I'd even be more afraid of a hamster biting me.

I was scared all animals when I was a child. I asked my mom to buy a dog but once my grandpa got a dog, I couldn't even touch cause I'm too scared. I really like the dog thought..haha
