Arabic characters are really beautiful, especially when they are written into words and sentences. it's like every word is its own uninterrupted piece of art. i may not speak the language, but we do use the numeral system - it would be amazing to see a video that shows how the Arabic numerals developed over time
Sorry to disappoint you, but Arabic does not use the same numerals. The numerals used by Europe and the Americas are called Western Arabic numerals. The Arabic world uses Eastern Arabic numerals, which function much the same way but look different. The more you know.
@@TejasGirl North America, Central America, South America = subcontinent or subregions of America. They aren't different continents. North America (Canada, USA, Mexico), located in the north of America; Central America (from Guatemala and Belize to Panama, including the isles in the Caribbean) is located in the centre of America; South America (from Colombia to Argentina and Chile) is located in the south of America.
One beautiful thing about the Arabic language is the ability to rearrange sentences into ornate patterns and shapes in a way that's still coherent to an Arabic speaker.
in turkish you can arrange the 4 words in (for example) hiç bişey yapasım yok (i dont want to do anything) in all 24 ways and every single one makes sense
@@LazyArtyzmy Quran teacher puts the English translation on the side so I understand the meaning I think you should do the same cause what’s the point of reading if you have no idea what you’re even saying
My language is Urdu, it's pretty much same as Hindi except we use this Perso-Arabic derived script called Nashtaliq, while Hindi uses the Sanskrit derived Brahmic script called Devanagari. We also have slight vocabulary differences where we prefer to use words that come from Arabic or Persian more commonly, whilst Hindi speakers tend to use Sanskrit derived words more commonly, but both languages use either or. Both languages grouped together are called Hindustani by linguists, and combined have over a billion speakers (L1 and L2) around the world.
@s.c.360 some letters are slightly different because they represent sounds that are not present in arabic. I study arabic and when I stumble across perso-arabic scripts I'm always confused because I instinctively try to read them as arabic but I'm not capable of doing it. Also arabic is a semitic language while urdu/persian are indoeuropean, so they have a huge grammatical and morphological difference
Almost forgot how cute our language characters are lol. I don’t use the dots on the letters like you do in some letters but we connect them with lines. Like ت with a small line instead of the two dots.
@@balfikmapping4220the arab using some words from English or French or sometimes use japanese on our speech but it isn't Arabic dictionary -sorry for bad English-
Wait until he writes the variations/forms of these letters, you'll get double or triple the number of letter shapes used in writing, but for Arabs it is instinctual! They took it for granted 😂Subhanallah! Arabic is the most amazing & complex language; it's an actual ocean ❤
Amazing how Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs turned into the Phoenician abjad then split into the Indo-European and Semitic alphabets, becoming the root for both the Latin script and the Arabic script.
@@user-to8gq6oh2l Both the Latin and Arabic scripts are derived from the Phoenician script, which itself is derived from ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics.
@@Yunagokimuhyu6729 do your research. Both the Arabian and Latin scripts can be traced back to the Phoenician script, which itself was derived from Egyptian hieroglyphics. I shouldn't be the one telling you this; it's literally general culture.

I love Arabic letters, and I also write Arabic calligraphy since I was in high school And I will be 78 years old in a month from today. Good work with a pencil only.
Beautiful. Each letter is a piece of art. I love languages ans speak 6 languages. And arabic for me is the most beautiful as it is very poetic . Thank you🙏🙏🙏
In Indonesia this is called "Huruf Hijaiyah" And there are additional letters lam alif in it Indonesian Muslims Learn to Read Arabic (Al-Qur'an) in many ways, I used to use the iqra' book We only learn to read But we don't understand the meaning because whatever comes out of the verses of the Qur'an is definitely the Word of Allah which we cannot imitate and is 100% beautiful, That's just My Opinion :v
idk Arabic but the times I've seen it in the memes and anywhere else has some interesting calligraphy and patterns especially in long sentences. I like have memorized some characters and I sometimes dash off some random sentences out of those characters which surely dont make any sense to the arabic eye lol
I used to do shorthand and there is a similarity here. In both instances letters are written above the line, on the line, through the line and below the line. How interesting. 🤔
My grandpa used to say jokes which involved the sultan putting up a sign in the village square, but then a fly shits on the sign and the meaning changes to something absurd because of the dot.
@@rezahabibi2586those are persian alphabet, in standard arabic we don't have those sounds but some dialects have those sounds and some use it for informal chats.
As a Turk, I am truly saddened by the conversion of these wonderful letters into the Latin alphabet. I hope one day we will return to writing in the Ottoman alphabet, just like our grandfathers..
@@sisjnwjwk7832 I didn't say that the Gokturk alphabet was used in "Turkey" anyway. However, the first alphabet used by Turks in history is the Gokturk alphabet. This is a fact 🙂
Keep in mind, this writing is used for begginers like when we were at elementary school so once you get used to it you don't put dots but instead you draw small lines and some letters can have various shapes depending on if they were on the start, middle, or end of the word.
as a native arabic speaker, i must say you wrote them exactly like the way they're written in the keyboard. amazing. but the last letter ain't exactly a letter. it's a Hamza " ء "
Man I remember how they used to teach us these letters at school. They would say that ج is pregnant and has one baby and چ having 3 babies while ح having none. We also represent ی as a swan but we erased some parts. Good times 😂😂
Those who are in affection with what a student-teacher has to offer, should also learn to embrace the knowledge he is sharing dispite the other side of the story..,
It says in the Quran itself that every society and community until Mohammed (S.A.W.) had been given their own prophet to preach the truth of Islam, and therefore no language in particular is in any way "holy" even in an Islamic sense.@@miscellaneousbits4368
Islam says God is most merciful. Let's test that. Would your god die for you? No. Would Satan die for you? No. What a "coincidence." Would a hen die for her chicks? Yes. Therefore, a 🐔 is more merciful than your false god. A 🐔 proves Mohammed was a false prophet, ladies and gentlemen. See "Islam was invented by Jews." "God can't die!" This is the sin of attributing to God limitations he doesn't have. God DOES have the power to have like a clone version of himself, an Avatar, die to pay for our sins as our Substitute, yet God the Father stay alive to resurrect his Son. Evil spirits can possess people, so why can't God inhabit people such as Samson who had super strength by the Holy Spirit? God is a mistranslation of the Hebrew word Elohim which means GODS... who are one. The Old Testament says a man and his wife become one flesh. Does that mean they are not two beings anymore? No. They represent the Trinity. God made the sun to represent himself. The sun symbolically dies every day, and "resurrects." Nature declares Jesus is God. My favourite language is Aramaic because the Saviour Yahshuah (Jesus) used it when he paid for our crimes. Your god ignores crimes to forgive. Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.
