I've watched a lot of videos regarding this research concern. But none of them provided a simple instructions on how to look for a theotrical framework and further explain on how to do it in a way of discussing it in a digestive form. Thanks God, I saw this one. It is comprehensive and also enjoyable to watch. Kudos to the instructor creator, you made a good job!

This video guides us on how to write a theoretical framework. To create a theory the researcher needs to look for a theory to support their variable. There are three steps to creating a theoretical framework, first, we need to write about the theory that we found, second, we need to find 2 studies that related to our theory, and lastly, we need to relate it to our study so that we can use it to make it our own.

I learned that the theoretical framework is used to limit the scope of the relevant data by focusing on specific variables and defining the specific viewpoin that the researcher will take in analyzing and interpreting the data to be gathered. And there are 3 to take note by doing this method, first is to write the theory and second write about two relevant studies and last but not the list is write how it is related to your present study.

the boxes that you are referring to is the research paradigm which will be used for your conceptual framework that is also based on the theory you will be using. to simply put, yung boxes na sinasabi mo must contain the information or based sa na nakuha mo from the theory/ies.

@@jules_s373 Hello! As I always say, it depends on your school format/template/requirement. If they would require you to put both theoretical and conceptual, then do both. Theoretical is easier because that can be found online. Conceptual can be patterned on the theory you have.

Sadly, no. If its an action research within your institution, you can cite it as reference. Theories lang dapat with empirical evidences ang pwede for framework.

Hello po ask ko lang po if valid gamitin sa Theoretical Framework yung mga proposed Conceptual Framework ng mga Researcher. Btw medyo confused din po ako kung pano malalaman if published or unpublished na yung paper. Ang nilagay po kasi namin diagram is yung proposed conceptual framework sa thesis kasi medyo similar yung gusto namin gamitin sa study kaso nung chineck po is di daw po sya pede sa Theoretical Framework. There are existing journals for published researches, example Scopus, Science Direct, SciHub. However, published researches should not be considered as theories. They are only related literature. You can use these literatures to create your Concept Framework but not for Theoretical Framework. Magkaiba yun. You can only base your Theoretical Framework from existing theories.

There's no specific rule to this. BUT fir Related Literature, it should be within 5-10 years. As to the Theory, as long as it is applicable to your paper, you can use even those that are from past decades.
Qualitative Researches use Conceptual Frameworks. Quantitative Research uses both, but most of the time it uses Theoretical Framework. If you are testing theories/hypothesis in your study, then Theoretical Framework is needed.
It depends on the number of variables you are studying, most especially for correlational. You can use different theories if there is no single theory to support the entire study. However, for a basic study, one theory would suffice.
