During my graduate studies (Masters), I did a thesis. After the final exam, we were given extra time to finish our thesis. In this regard, which one should be the Degree end date? The month of the final exam or when I submitted my thesis or the month when we got the result? I emailed a graduate coordinator of a university and they told to choose the date of degree awarded and it should be mentioned in the transcript! Does it mean the result publication date?

However, for students with challenged academic results, we highly recommend having publications or research experiences to create an attractive profile for themselves and increase the chances of being accepted for a full free scholarship. Do make sure that your online courses are relevant to your field of study. Also, mention the name and title of the course instructor/ teacher to add to the value of your online course(s) on your CV. Vaia, actually my B.Sc. cgpa is below 3.00 but both SSC & HSC are 5.00. And I definitely don't feel great to mention my undergrad cgpa in my cv but feel like to add the other two. In that case, can I add the gpa of SSC and HSC by not mentioning B.Sc cgpa? Or should I mention all 3? or I shouldn't mention any of my gpa? Which will be the best according to you? Another question is, I led the cricket team in the school level as well as in the uni level in the inter school and inter universiity cricket tournament respectively, I can use that as leadership qualities but can I mention that I won player of the match and player of the tournament in inter discipline cricket tournament in the 'awards and achievement section'? I am going to apply to Canada and the UK for January, 2023. Just came across your video and loved that. Will be very delighted if you answer to my queries.

There are usually no "time limits" to extra curricular activities. However, university activities tend to be more in-line with your career than college / school activities. We would recommend you mention relevant experiences first, no matter the timeline of the experience. Hope it helps!

Dear Bidhan Dutta, This is a very good question! You can definitely add your online courses to your CV! It will not come to any harm. However. the "value" of online courses which are not provided by renowned educational institutions is always debatable. We cannot tell for sure whether a faculty member / university will take it as a positive side, or just simply ignore it. For example, professional experience in a relevant field of work will always be more valuable than several online courses. So, it is upto the people / universities you are applying to to decide whether your online courses are beneficial or not. Hope it helps!

Dear Ridwanur Rahman, We strongly recommend having a 2 page CV. If your experiences are extensive, please remove the less important ones. Update them on your LinkedIn profile, so if anyone wants to know further about you they may look there. However, having a 2 page CV is a must. Hope it helps!

I do not have my IELTS and GRE marks with me . i need your suggestion on how a bachelor student can get admission without losing too many years?
