He is spot on about the stress of transition back to being a civilian. I know people who are years from getting out, and they are already stressed about it. The concept of leaving a brotherhood that is constantly around you, similar to you, and will bleed for you, all to return to a lifestyle that has less clear cut guidelines, no visible bond or trust, and basically being alone is terrifying. I know alot of people think differently, but I personally think that's scary and daunting.

I served under this guy in Iraq...... His incredible lack of leadership and disregard for the safety of his joes makes this feel scripted. He probably was told evey line to say and when to say it. "There are no more VBIED's in Iraq anymore" isn't that what you told us? You make me sick.
