How transistor can act as a Switch? Visualized Experiment on Breadboard 

In this video the NPN Transistor acts as a switch in such a way that whenever the free ends of the jumper wires are touched current flow through through the base of the transistor and the transistor turns on .
When the transistor is on current flows from the collector-Emitter junction of the transistor which then makes the LED on
