I did not listen to the debate.... I looked at the debate.... Now that it's over....I listen to what other have to say......and my prediction will not change....its just 4 years later that's all...🎉
@@gameburn178she crossed the room and shook his hand...... Now he can think about the lie he told at Arlington Cemetery..... That's going to go viral.
He can talk smack but can't even look at her in person. Just like when he "fired" contestants on his game show. He is a great representative of the many pitiable and loathsome factions of his base.
Male here. Defensively, I’ll say not ALL men, but I take your point and certainly agree that sleek, overfed half-men of the Republican Party and far too many of those putatively of the Church have actively sought to relegate women. It has disgusted me that anyone, much less a political leader, could talk about women as breeding stock who ought not to have the vote. It is appalling that so many of those Republicans have busied themselves cravenly pandering to bigots. Harris was impressive in the debate. How anyone could think of Trump as a viable candidate is mind boggling.
I understand what ur'e saying but still it's a narrow minded & biased view. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of men who support womens rights. In fact, if we are to believe that men hold the power in society, politics...then the fact women are "even allowed to vote" was certainly championed by brave strong women who fought for that right--and still men fought and supported women in that effort as well so that women can vote!!. There are other examples..I'm just saying not all men are anti-women and you know this.
Some comments are too broad - no pun intended - to be taken seriously. It's disingenuous and unfair to plenty of good men who fight the good fight. And let's not act like our 'sisters' have all been on the side of freedom and choice. That's bullshit. Fwiw, I'm an old chick - and a damn Democrat for a half century who's seen the best and worst of politics. I've worked for campaigns and know men who have gone to the wall for us and too many women who are on the side of flat out evil. So take those self-pitying talking points to someone who cares. Go Blue. That's ALL of us: we're in this TOGETHER. 💙🇺🇸💪
It's hard to believe there are Americans who actually believe Trump is up to the challenge of taking on Putin. Putin is an ex-KGB chief. Trump couldn't tolerate one decent politician telling him he was fired by 81,000,000 Americans. He looked like he was going to either cry or flip his podium. Could not have happened to a more deserving loser.
I was raised by a single mom. I remember how hard it was for her. My mom like Kamala always put others first. That is what matters most to me. She would be a president, like so many presidents before her, who would work tirelessly for the American people. I want women to make their own decisions. My mom in the 70s didn't have that luxury. It was a mans' world. I see so much of my own mother in Kamala. She absolutely destroyed Trump tonight. My 87 year old mom and I watched it. Miss Rubin, you are a true patriot and a heck of a woman. Thank you for defending democracy.
Hi Jeff. Say hi to your mom for me. Tell her I send her all possible best wishes. I lost my mom two years ago, she was that age, and I get emotional any time I see someone talk so lovingly about their mom. 😭
Soon as she mentioned people leaving his small rallies; he became unhinged and she spent the rest of the night talking about her plans and policies. Trump had 9 years to formulate a plan to replace or improve the affordable care act, and as expected he still does not have a plan or policy. She looks and sounds like our next president; he looks like a tired, cranky senior citizen.
@GrannyToast She won when she walked across the stage like a boss and shook his hand and said, "Kamala Harris." For just a second, I thought she was gonna say, "Kamala Harris for the people."
He really did, Jen. He was AWFUL. And she was spectacular. Honestly-I give her a 9.5 - Trump got a 1. Not a 1.5. A one. He gets 1 point for shaking her hand. One.
The media loves Trump because of all the material he provides. That being said, our democracy won't survive another Trump presidency. He has presented NO policy because he's too busy being vindictive and is in it solely for the immunity he hoped to attain. As soon as he's in, project 2025 will be "his" policy, regardless of him reading not reading it (which he hasn't, because he can't). He's just going to sit on his throne eating KFC as his dogs r*** and plunder.
correction: not enough Democrats vote were counted as polls closed early in Ohio, Florida, and other states. but that excuse doesn't wash anymore ~ get your butts out there and vote. This notwithstanding all the gerrymandering going on. Despite those re-districting schemes by the repukeblicons, there's still a chance of winning over the House as well as the Senate. Vote!
The VP was more aggressive toward Trump than I had expected, but it worked. She appeared strong, focused, and values-driven, as opposed to the guy she's running against, who is driven by rage and grievance, and vents almost endless lies.
But so much better than the trump/biden CNN debate. Dana Bash and Jake Tapper honestly need to look for new jobs after seeing tonight’s moderation by Linsey and David.
@@LindaVernon you are clearly a more discerning observer than a great many other Americans. He dominated the conversation word count wise, which many equate with winning.
@@diashelle I heard somehow who coaches individuals to debate say, that although it may not be your turn, if you start talking, your mic will be turned on. Next time V.P. Harris will have to do the same thing. DJT knew this, that's why he insisted on making one more point and then one more comment. She was being respectful of the time.
@@ernestheau9146 If anything he got special treatment. He got to interrupt without a muted mic, when Kamala did the same thing (once or twice as opposed to 40 times) her mic was muted.
BBC World Service (radio) reported just that minutes afterward ~ but that he also thought it was his best performance despite the moderators being unfair.
@@JP51ism Have you heard the analogy about the pigeon on the chess board? It knocks over the pieces, poops on the board, and declares victory. That's DUHnocchio.
Folks forgot that as a prosecutor you are always playing to an audience, its "life" theater and the stakes are always high. I was a 2020 Kamala booster based upon her work on the Senate Judiciary Committee. She is shrewd, passionate, genuine and smart.
Thank God, she is who we DESPERATELY need. She set him up, he walks right into his usual DIATRIBE. Eating cats, dogs, how terrible this country is...lhis whole shambling, ambling..ranting as always.
You're right that the press needs to push back on lies, but sometimes they need to allow officials to demonstrate their craziness for all to see. Jimmy Breslin, a famous journalist from some time ago said, "The best way to make someone look like a fool is to quote them, exactly." It is a balancing act but at least there was some push back this time.
I agree, the moderators allowed him to steamroll them but stopped Kamala when she tried to do the same. She was smart, jotted down some notes and went back to the point she wanted to make when it was time for her to speak again. Trump’s bullying and bluster worked against him. He was showing how little he respects fairness; rules of engagement and the audience. It’s all about him.
The US voters have a wonderful opportunity to solidify the future of their country and make the world a better place for all of us. Please don’t stay home on election day! 🇨🇦 We wish you the best!
@@vilstef6988 The reporting of polls is crazy. One percent differences are well within the margin of error. Even worse is determining "trending" by a one or two percent difference.
Jen, I always thought VP Harris needed to keep attacking Trump's inadequacies. I do not believe there should be a second debate. I'm so pumped. Luv u, Jen 💗 ur are a beacon of hope and knowledge. ☮️💙
