This was one of the most hyped LAN's by far, with a dozen different storylines to follow and watch out for, Mande subbing in for Alliance, TSM's comeback performance compared to last year's championships, NRG with their reputation as chokers, DarkZero if they can retain their throne, Moist Esports as a whole, Luminosity with YanYa and Jaguares as very young talents compared to everyone across the board, APAC North's disappointing performances even after always being hailed as the most mechanical region, and so much more, holy sh1t was this hype as hell, looking forward to the next one.
These videos are incredibly produced. Your cadence, storytelling, and editing come together to create a consistent experience for us each time. This deserves more views ! 🙏🏽
Great video! You forgot to mention an important point that was decisive in their victory. They have two of the best mechanical shooters in the game. Their shooting skill, it's so obvious that you forget to think about it.
Subbed the amount of work put into this is astounding. I can't watch or keep up with all this shit all the time... so this fixes that for me. I can just watch these recap videos after every event. Dope.
Your videos are absolute gems, incredibly well researched and produced. Your videos have been incredibly concise in explaining the nuanced of Apex comp strategies that I never realized even existed. I think it would be great to get videos to explain team comps and POI strats. I never knew comps were specific to playing certain ways like edge comps or zone comps. More detailed videos on this with team examples would be great!
Appreciate the kind words! I’ve realized that not everybody who watches ALGS is as big of a comp nerd as I might be so I’ve been thinking over some ideas on like an “Comp Apex Explained” series where I just hit the basics on a lot of things that 99% of the apex player base probably doesn’t even consider. I know I never did until years after following ALGS
Doing a video on alliance being so successful with a sub that people thought was washed before this would be really cool they seemed to be a favorite of to watch
YOU HAVE ONLY BEEN DOING THIS FOR A MONTH!? Bro this is a top 3 Apex Legends channel. Your videos are one of the only ones that I think, “I have to watch his videos”. Keep up the good work my guy.
The depth of analysis this guy goes into is insane , by far one of the best apex channels …..keep up the great work , this channel is gonna explode and I’m glad I got to see it early
It's so sad to rewatch how much effort Evan and Jordan put into this year for them to completely give up on being in a team with Hal. They were the true superteam, the most talented and complete team to ever play the game
Great Video! You should do one of Acend, their story and placement are really impressive, the way how they adapt to POI's and zone calling by K4shera is smth else too
Had to drop a sub for the consistent quality and info. On a side note i'd love to see a separate video or videos that are entirely about a selected team's entire journey through a tournament, for example highlighting both the lows and highs of all of TSM's games or at least the ones where they do well/don't do well for different reasons
Very happy for Big E. Felt like he got a lot of shit for the last LAN (some deserved) but this time he kept the composure and was very ruthless throughout the LAN
23:50 Evan stopping his last syringe the instant Hal says they're gonna valk ult is a nice touch. We've all been there: you want one last heal, and then you get to your buddy .5 seconds after the enemy finishes him
Evan is the perfect teammate for Hal. He is an amazing listener, as detailed in that clip at the end, always absorbs and truly tries to improve, and just has that gut feeling of when to execute timing on Hal’s calls
@@AyeJHawk Facts. Absolute unit on the sticks too. Great videos. I'm in and out of Apex every few months, so now I know the best channel to concisely plug into any important ALGS happenings whenever I need.
By the way this video was made there ain’t no way you’re not at 100k super amazing video with a lot of insight. This may not mean much but brother you gained a subscriber. Can’t wait for the next video.
Always love how you edit in themes from the Apex Legends soundtrack. Really an underrated aspect of what makes these videos so fun to watch/listen to. What are the top teams that you think under OR overperformed in London?
For underperformed I’d say probably 100T, Vexed, Crazy Racoons, Invictus Gaming, The Guard, and DarkZero Over performed? Jlingz, Onic, Singularity, and E6 all really impressed me!
This is one of the first apex competitive content i've watched. I play the game pretty much everyday and have played it since day 1 but the competitive experience as a watcher has never grabbed me personally. Battle royales as a esport really dont work as well as games like csgo or mobas
Sorry for the incoming novel but I love your insight and content. So just seconds prior to TSM making the game winning valk ult they were in prime position to third and fourth party the chaos popping off underneath them and get tons of KP, Jordan was even popping an Ult Excel so he could pop his seer ult and they could drop and thats when Hal looked over to that god spot and had his light bulb moment. So just like you said, he knew they had to take the risk and valk ult to get god spot over getting for sure KP. Also think it was in game 6 TSM immediately rotated into another awesome spot into one of the lower buildings of tree, between tree and syphon and were bullying surrounding teams. They could have literally been top 2 just sitting there until the final circle. NRG, who were on match point as you covered, were rotating in really late and mistakenly thought the lower part of TSMs building was free and they pushed inside of it which resulted in only one player surviving from each squad or else NRG would have had a full squad to fight for 1st place and win the whole thing or TSM would be been at Match point. NRG was shredding kill wise what hurt them most games, including the close out games, was the fact that they were rotating sooooo late and either having to settle for a shit spot or getting killed as they rotated in. Even the game that TSM won, NRG was the 3rd team to land under that building where TSM was and it was really late in the game and TSM just bullied them as well which kept making them scramble which in turn kept making them easy pickings for other teams.
By far the best mini doc on London LAN so far. Just a couple constructive criticism points from a writing perspective: -The use of the terms "multiple roster swaps" and "other teams began having more and more success" makes it feel like you're trying to make TSM sound like much more of an underdog than they actually were. I get that there was talk amongst comp fans about TSM being washed, but for all intents and purposes, they underwent two roster swaps (while technically "multiple," it's barely that), and one other team starting having a significant increase in success. I get the need to build the narrative that this was a huge win to resolidify TSM's domination over comp, but it really wasn't that huge of a comeback story. You even allude to that when you reference how favored they were in London. Again, great doc, but those two sentences in the first couple of minutes just don't sit right.
If Kahsera pull off is ultimate little bit early, Tsm won’t make it on rotation play. The result might be different for tsm. Acend crypto ulti is little late.
Would love to see some shorter videos on things like the LG kill record now that LAN is over. Would also love a big video on NRG and the reasons why they couldn't close it out.
Appreciate it! Only esports I really follow are Apex, Siege, and Melee. Melee already has people that do this kind of stuff and I assume Siege does too
Sub to this man fellow Apex fans ❤ Hal holds his players to a very high standard. If anything that’s a compliment and shows he believes in Reps and Big E.
@@AyeJHawk bro i think i was the one that recommended it. fall of faze. my top teams really are TSM cause or Reps, 100T cause of Vax, TGRD for Ram. lol
HOW can u produce such high quality videos so quickly? Especially This long? Great videos, great talk and great editing! Well done! This isnt a big of a deal, but I think u should get a better face cam if u plan on doing some face cam parts again. Nothing the less nice one!
At around 16:00 minutes when you said Tsm fails to notice NRG died, they don’t see what team gets eliminated like we do so they wouldn’t have known that info anyway
They actually do see when teams get eliminated. They don’t see when individual players die. But when a team gets wiped they can see “NRG has been eliminated” in the yellow text
@@AyeJHawk they don’t know until they kill a team and see death boxes.I’m pretty sure they play on anonymous mode and the kill feed is just for viewers
@@hatb36 nah, even in anonymous mode you do see when the name of a squad has been eliminated. They will often comm “____ team has died” whenever they see it
@@AyeJHawk isn’t that just because they know who’s who’s because of team comp ,skins ,rotation etc.zIf that’s true ,it takes away some suspense and excitement knowing who’s left
Love the videos and apex is my favorite game but I feel you should branch out into other e-sports as well. The way you lay out all the information video it’d be amazing to see history of other tourneys/ history of esports teams as well to even games I’ve never watched before. Though if that doesn’t interest you I understand and only apex does totally understandable
Only esports I really watch are Apex and R6 Siege. The occasional tune in for a Scump watch party on COD. Otherwise I only really pay attention to other esports through RU-vid channels content
