The last game was so hype, you guys seem to thrive when being pressured by multiple teams lol. That and the fight on top of spiders cave was incredibly fun to watch.
The RNG is really part of a Battle Royale. It is confirmed that E36 prioritized getting into Champs rather than winning the LAN. If they win that match then there would be a posibility Falcons will overtook them from 18th place and they wouldnt qualify in Champs. The Champs is the real deal.
I disagree, I think they misplayed that final zone and could have won regardless of what any other teams did. The mistake was when they didn't wrap and wipe Guild. They would have had the entire side of that zone to themselves with an easier walk in to underneath the building.
Their crypto had a 1v1 against Alliance, the only reason they died before Alliance. They could have sat on that bin up top and been the last to jump down likely ftw
@@renzbay123 even that explanation doesnt make sense because Guild was dying below them just before they did that. if they paid attention to the kill feed they wouldve known that they would get Placement points at the very least. their comms were also translated and almost instantly after dropping they said "i dont think we shouldve done that"
@@xanira6367 it is what it is now, but its the same as TSM's loss to E36. You never know what any team is going to do. E36 obviously didn't make the smartest call and did what they thought would get them to champs in that moment. Which worked, E36 in no way could've predicted if another team would have passed them up in points if the tournament kept going. It was high risk high reward for them to qualify in that moment.
Never wanted a team to win so bad. Actually heart breaking to watch that team jump on you for literally zero reason at all. That was y’all’s win man, good fucking games boys.
I feel like the reason why TSM always maintains a high level during lan is because jordan and evan will both pick up some igling to some extend. They always comm so actively when it's big. This imo significantly contributed to Hal and TSM's success. At the same time Hal consistently giving the team the key call for crucial moments pushed them to the top. Both of them were very fortunate to have each other in their career. But it is what it is.
good read. Makes sense in hindsight. Reps and Evan become smarter and make more proactive decisions with better coms that pull them out of the blinders they sometimes put on in scrims- like in game 1 when reps was knocked and reigned evan in and reminded him about his smokes. I can still understand why hal left, the amount of stress that can put on an igl is a lot but it can make for a championship team with the pressure on- hed probably be tilted after 2 days before finals of telling evan to remember to use his smokes.
@@DoNothingCrazy Very true, I mean look at what happened to Zer0, his mental went down the drain in the last couple of games and had to swap to Crypto and let Hal do most of the igl'ing. Being an igl is very hard.
Maybe this is what they need, delogate seperate IGL roles. Evan should be calling positional directions. Jordan should be calling team fighting comms. Zap maybe Strategy and whatever else. It grains me when evan calls a good play and zap says its a bad idea. Hesitation generated here breaks the narrow windows of oppertunity.
@@traida111 it’s tough to pin it down bc he does suggest bad ideas. Like he was going to go for a kill 4 seconds before zone close before they had a secured spot in next zone just bc he cracked a Newcastle and he thought he was solo when both zap and reps saw he had two teammates ratting the Res in a smoke. Also he kept pushing for hugging the wall early when it was top 3 bc he wanted a cheeky crack on height when they spray the third team- problem being Evan would’ve been in full view of the third team and probably not used smokes at the right time, thankfully zap and reps reeled him in and stopped him. Also I think it’s game 1 but Evan had like ptsd from that train cart or something bc he clearly was worried that other teams would just nade them out and crypto ult them, even though they cleaned up a team with a third party and the other team that was left had already exhausted all their utility. He just jumped into an old new castle alt and gave the other team who arguably had a disadvantage a free knock to start their fight. That team ended up getting third partied and the other team ended up getting thirds so it was a pretty unwinnable situation anyway. All this to say I’m confused on zap bc while he does seem to be getting the flack for tsm having inconsistent results he’s constantly putting up the most damage and either top fragging or being very close behind Evan, which is exactly what they wanted when they drafted him, a controller entry fragger that can compliment Evan’s anchor fragging and give Evan a bunch of opening damage and assists. No one has talked shit about reps for always bottom fragging and going down first just as much zap as an anchor support which should never be the case- which could just be their macro meta fucking up. (This mostly happened in scrims tho and his finals day performance had him not going down first most of these games). In closing, this team seems to be held together by glue and their competent fighting skill (2 competent controller fraggers and a very flexible reps that can utilized crypto effectively in their pushes on the games they did well in). That seems to thrive in this meta where the expected insane aim of everyone in an algs lobby, double mozam and crypto/new castle meta made many end games very unreadable for even the most vetted igls. Where every team wavers between the passificity of a crypto meta (where the pushing party guarantees that 1 player is inactive in the push) and necessity of new castle to avoid bang ult, nade stacking bc of the nullification of Watson by crypto- ultimately leads to no one team having a major advantage in any push besides momentum and first peaking bias and legends that can’t turn the tide of a push with any affective offensive options makes 3rd parties predictable(with no solution other than just not taking damage in the first engagement) and fights collapsing very fast - in this meta a team running around like a chicken with their head cut off and 3/3 of them with double Mozams rapid firing at anything that breathes- yeah I guess you could kind of predict tsm getting 4th place

Evan and Reps are co-igling. Zap was the final say. but Reps man is on a whole other level, he played out of his mind. Reps Kraber shots and he had alot of kills and he was on crypto. definitely proved to be the best MnK player on this tournament.

I was wondering the same thing, it's probably an algs specific account that hasn't been updated, they do get benefits on these accounts, they don't get to customize it themselves probably besides skins and settings
e36 needed to be 19th place or higher placement to qualify for Champs. They thought that winning the game would put them at 20th place and wouldnt qualify. so they decided to end it and have 18th place.
someone said they got blasted off the roof. i want to see their pov. I was thinking it was because they got smoked, allowing them to stealth the jump across, putting a fuse on them to know their position.

You don't seem to understand. Falcons are the " super team" so when they do anything other than win it's a bust. Tsm actually had to restart the process of finding a new igl . After all the ego statements from Hal and zero everyone deserves to rub it in
