You know who the real victim in the twilight movies is? The guy who played Edward in the movies. I'm sure somewhere down the line he regretted being in them and being remembered as an actor who ruined the vampire genre. Every friend I know hates these movies so imagine how the people in them felt. Hell, they probably only continued starring in them because I'm sure they were paid well. Just my opinion though I could be wrong.

You are not wrong at all my friend, Robert Pattinson (who played Edward) says that if Edward Cullen existed in real life as a human he would be an axe murderer :P And that if he watched the Twilight Saga as an audience member and didn't star in it at all, he said he would hate it mindlessly :P Gotta give the guy props, he's not afraid to bash his own role. Though it gave him lots of money it did cost him his dignity at times.

Oh yes! The books are defiantly worth reading; they're so much--SO MUCH-- better than the movies. I don't have very much patience with the movies, but the books are just fantastic. Stephanie Meyer is an amazing author. :D

I'm a big book nerd and the answer is no. Stephanie Meyer is not the greatest writer to all the 13 year old girls. Its cheap and nasty the book and appeals to young girls because Edward is selfless over himself in Bella and his relationship and lets face it that what all girls want. Has a terrible story line and Bella is more of a sobbing girl who needs a man to help her get through her problems rather than a hero.
