I would like to comment on four areas. Firstly, Commonwealth countries exchange high commissions and not embassies as you mentioned several times in this clip. Britain's diplomatic mission in Nigeria is a high commission and the high commission is headed by the high commissioner, so is Nigeria in Britain. Secondly, this goes a long way to show how desperate Buhari can be to achieve his wicked plans. Thirdly, Buhari and all those involved in the Dikko affair must have been very foolish to think they would have succeeded in breaching British security systems. Had they succeeded which was very unlikely, it would have been a slap on her majesty's security services. Lastly this same tactics were used 37 years later in 2021, by the same man to kidnap Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya.

I read of this incident in my 3rd yr as a law student on diplomatic rekations and paricularly on the inviolability of diplomatic property where this incidence stood out as an exception to the said principle
