I have a feeling this video is gonna pop off and going to be suggested to people very soon! Thank you Paddy, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I look forward to applying a lot of the techniques learned :)
I think a big part of the channel’s success is viewers looking for validation - they either want Lou to praise a product they own or are about to buy, reinforcing their choice or criticise a brand they don’t like. That validation reinforces the notion that the viewer is “in the know” and one step ahead of everyone else.
@@b50_kirtishpatil98 this is because technical guruji uploads everyday and sometime even 2 videos a day. And also technical guruji has more than 20 million subs.
Awesome video. It's good to get a understanding of these peeps on YT. You have a good way of explaining and breaking down things. Really is good content. Looking forward to your branding one. Keep up the good work.
Hi Paddy. Nice video(s)! Tip; add a high-pass filter to your audio; there are some >very< bassy plops here and here when you’re talking, picked up by my sub. You can cut everything under 50hz without sacrificing much.
Bruh, so so happy you're back with these videos. They add a lot of value and this is definitely a unique niche that you've tapped into. Please keep going as you add a lot of value with the production and sharing of these content. Would love to see a video on iJustine, Superwoman or maybe Rosanna Pansino next.
Great video lad, never watched this guy before, but love seeing these breakdowns of big RU-vidrs! - keep it going yourself, deserve more subs (Yes Theory would be a fun channel to do) 💪🏼👍🏼😁
Enjoying this series. I recognize you're sort of looking at style in a broader sense as a category so unbox therapy as tech and Casey as vlogging I'm thinking it could be helpful as well if you focused in a bit more specifically so like for example a bodybuilding channel. If you could take one and analyze what sets them apart from the other channels doing the sale sort of topic that would be helpful to me personally. But also... keep up the great work!
Good video again with lots of helpful tips. A lot I've already implemented because I recognized a need. Constantly improving is a big one and my viewers have complimented me on my improvements. I'm currently reworking my workshop too in order to be more camera friendly. Quality has to be paramount as my skill increases. I've recently trashed footage from two separate rides due to bad angles or my stabilization was off. I'd rather put out no video that week than a bad one.
I'd really like to see what your take is on Daily Driven Exotics...personally, I believe that their channel will end up being a major all-youtube top 5 channel - basically meaning that their content will be 'suggested' to nearly everybody who logs onto youtube regardless of what they like to watch - by the time 2020 rolls around...they're already growing so rapidly, not to mention the fact that they're literally just scooping up already huge youtubers (Alex Choi and now Emelia Hartford....seems like they're essentially making sure to touch nearly every automotive demographic by offering membership one channel at a time to the other vloggers in their niche industry...at their current pace, I honestly wouldn't even be surprised if Stradman hopped on-board with DDE in the near future; they're growing exponentially, and he's very slightly losing steam...I could see DDE reaching out to him in an attempt to get all of his subs, who may currently be reluctant to subscribing to DDE's almost obnoxious demeanor/"style"). I think it'd be a really interesting niche to investigate further; I'm not sure of what you think of them, but I would definitely love to hear your take on their looming + now inevitable YT 'empire'...
I would say the channels biggest standout feature is Lew himself, his personality is the best part of the channel. My point being, if you have zero personality, you'll never be Unbox Therapy.
Top two Tech RU-vidrs are on top only because of frequent giveaways. If you look at their channels, they get lesser views (hardly 1M on every video) than even MKBHD (who consistently gets at least 1.5M views per video)
Could you do some videos on tips for getting your first 1000 subscribers and maybe review some smaller to mid size youtubers as well as the mega stars?
Glad you are back. Basically... Review anybody. I learned about Peter through your videos and fell down that rabbit hole. Never heard about this channel you are presenting before your video, either.
Missed your videos man! It was cool to know more about a channel which has never appeared in my feed. Also, you might want to review this channel which is also specialiced and that is always on the top when looking for anything related to calisthenics: OFFICIALTHENX Nope, im not affiliated, i am just curious about how they went to the top of that specific niche. Hope you upload regularly again man! have an excelent youtubing ;)
these are pretty interesting, the one you did on Casey Niestat and now this made me subscribe. It's funny everything you've said on these two videos about what makes them successful, are pretty much something I can't really do. Great analyses though!
Thing big? 😅 Well, you nearly got to the end without a type-o! Maybe you should make it a thing to see who of your viewers can find one in each vid. Seriously though, another great analysis of a successful YT site proving once again that you should not take such long breaks between content uploads. Loved it and look forward to your next installment. And btw, I clicked my first ‘bell’ on RU-vid just now...
Thanks for the video, but your use of CAPITAL LETTERS for the graphics gets tiring; as you say about Lewis, at around 4 mins, he uses capitals for EMPHASIS.
