You know what's sad is when I was 23, I wanted to join the Air Force. I showed them my SAT scores, SAT2 scores, JLPT scores and even showed them my Mensa ID because that's how bad I wanted to join the Air Force. I went to several Air Force recruitment centers and all of them told me because I have tattoos I couldn't join. It didn't matter how smart I was, the fact I went to a military High School, would pass the physical fitness test with ease and had dozens of recommendations from college professors. I honestly couldn't believe they had such a stupid rule in place and I even tried to speak with higher up officers to appeal my case but they all didn't care. Just literally told me no without looking at any of my paperwork.
