I always look for state quarters and keep them if in good condition...I’ll have to keep a eye out for these South Carolina ones too I live on east coast so philly mint is my area however they are beat up from circulation

I was looking for change in my wallet this morning. I pulled out this coin and it was so beautiful that I had to Google it. It is the 2000 S.C. quarter with the D on it. No idea if it's a collectable one or worth anything but it's lovely, so I'll keep it. Thanks for the info.

My son collected a couple sets of the State Quarters when they first came out. He also has a jar of them that might be worth looking through. We'll have to look to see what our 2000 SC versions look like with regards to quality and potentially some errors (now that we know what to look for). That 9-strike quarter was amazing. Yeah, how did the mint let those go? The split-clad was cool too.

I do look for these quarters. I actually had a couple under my scope today. Too many scratches to be above MS68, but they were still very shiny.

I recently started looking at quarters . I purchased a few rolls and came across lots of silver and even a newer gold quarter . So I will definitely be looking for the 2000's . Very cool info on the 2000 quarters. The 9 time struck aluminium is so bizzar that had to be someone messing around. In should never been put into circulation. But it is cool to look at.

I have about 30 of the SO. Carolina quarters with a good mix of P & D. A couple look good enough I would like to know more about grading. Also have one that looks to have gotten very dirty and someone cleaned. The shading on Washington’s face is really cool.

I read an article last year about the off-center South Carolina quarter that was pretty valuable, but this is the first time I've seen all those errors and missing clad layers. Also saw a California quarter missing clad or improperly annealed was worth a good bit too. Thanks fam!

To be honest, I have not paid much attention to my State quarters. All my State quarters are still in the original rolls I got from the bank each year they were minted. What is a little frustrating is when you say there are many more mistakes and then you do not point them out. You gave obvious mistakes but not the ones that we find in our everyday pocket change. Thank you for your videos in pointing out the mintages and such. Would like to see more detailed known mistakes. Keep filming! (Showing you my age...)

I collect state quarter's and it is hard for me to see if the coin is DDO or DDR vs machine doubling I have a lot of the 2000 quarters in my collection

I've only found two SC quarters both of them are scratched up pretty bad. I know the older state quarters have a big value on them and a lot of them have errors. Since I found that out I've been looking real close at the state quarters when I find them.

Im on here mainly because I found this 2000P South Carolina quarter dollar coin double die strick on the obverse.

I looked up this video because I found a 2000-p South Carolina and it stood out only because I was looking for somthing else and it just feels very light compared to all my other quarters. Not sure if this is somthing anyone could help me with
