I'm a retired soldier, disabled veteran, and a volunteer at my local VA Hospital. I work directly with our hospitalized veterans, to include veterans who are homeless. I also financially support the Fisher House Foundation that supports the families of our patients at the VA Hospital. Why do I do what I do? LDRSHIP.
I love the five aspects what to share with others. Not only in volunteer projects, but also in team leadership, sharing about my passion and sharing the fun will add value to the team.
I love what you do you help the community save a lot of money . I hope one day I get to meet you. im a homeless man that also love to volunteer in cleaning up the sidewalk. but in my case I ended up getting bad luck. I feel like someone did some kind of witch scrafft . it's been all bad for me . if you can help me get them off my back . I'll volunteer to clean up your front and back yard for free for the rest of my life. and that's a BIG PROMISE
thank you my sister. Wish you many years of life. i'm going to share my ideas and experience i have. help us with any other relevant points for us to continue feeling the urge of transform this world
True good intention to help others will be so driving Gis will facilitate the road. too much overthinking the plan will stop for start. just start what you love and adjust in the way
I can't help but see that all of those who are advocating for volunteering come from a place of either privilege or support. Either that, or they work for the charitable organization and it comes with a paycheck. For the rest of us, we like the idea of helping others but spend most of our waking hours scrambling to survive in a world that is too expensive for most of us to thrive.
