where the sulfur is applied for vulcanization?

what is the baking process like if the upper is textile or leather?

The sulfur is in the rubber mix. There are actually two different compounds that can be used to create the molecular cross-links. Sulfur cure or Peroxide cure.

I'm surprised the soles are baked after the uppers have been attached. Seems like you'd have to use specific upper materials that won't burn or melt.

Good Video but the problem for me is that NONE of the machines have safety guards on them. Cutter Sewer and heat sealer can lose fingers in those machines.
