Absolutely horrific. And given what’s happened in Gaza in the past 3 months and what’s happening today with the worrying crisis around drinking water. All those tik toks of Israeli folks mockingly wasting water are particularly vile. Tel Aviv is just an hours drive away from Gaza and they will have riches of clean water and food, while the people of Gaza are starving to death. Humanity has truly failed. Sad times.

Correct. The death numbers are indicative of those who actually made it to a hospital. There have been a number of deaths left in areas of fighting, streets, etc., in addition to the many under the rubble. A week and a half ago, one of the doctors who had just returned from Gaza estimated the death toll at that point at likely 50,000.

What people have to remember, the middle-east's only, so called "democracy" has not signed up to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons but also since 1963, Israel has pledged to “not be the first to introduce nuclear weapons in the Middle East.”, even though they have around 90 weapons of mass destruction. Worryingly, Israel has not signed the 1972 Biological and Toxin Weapons Conventions (BTWC). In the '48 Nakba, Israel used chemical and biological weapons to poison Palestinians, intervening Arab armies, and the citizens of neighboring states with typhoid, dysentery, malaria, and other diseases, even though it was completely BANNED. The fact the USA and EU supported Israel, means they are complicit in using banned weapons of mass destruction.

I was fortunate to have lectures with the Professor at the Catalan Institute for Human Rights and he's a man of great knowledge with regards to the water related issues having worked in European and South American nations on preserving rivers and other relating issues... I've been watching Israel since 2006 when they attacked Lebanon. I noticed that the rocket attacks barely would kill anyone but Israel would kill several people, injure many others, and bulldoze homes. They typically inflicted a 10:1 Palestinian to Israeli death toll. After Oct 7th, when the numbers came out I remarked that people should expect over 10k deaths, but there would probably be more like 75-100k when famine and disease were taken into account. There are also going to be a lot of birth defects and many births prevented due to the stress, et al.

Awful stuff, my stomach is turning listening to this story. This issue was never brought up "before October 7". Unthinkable that that many population in such a confined land area have no free access to such a basic thing as clean drinking water. Awful

What can be done by normal citizens to stop this? Is there any way to stop this massacre?

I liked you guests description of the Garza as a concentration camp & that's what it's been since the 1960s & the world has ignored it. Also that's haw i have described it since the 1980s with Israeli death squads. The Israeli's identify the people in 1940s Warsaw Poland & others as heroes so using the same analogy what are the palastinions in Garza & the west bank.

The israhellis said they cut food, water, medicine etc so the palestinians , each and everyone, for sure, will get very sick and will die. It's horror after horror, each and every single day, that we are forgetting what they have said since oct 7th.

Malnutrition adversely affects children. My mum was evacuated in WWII and when she returned had to be treated at hospital. Her growth was stunted (and she still has ptsd from the experience as well as from the bombing while in shelters, losing her home, friends, toys, books). The physical injuries and psychological traumas of Israel’s operation will not end with a ceasefire, nor even with a peaceful resolution.
