New to breeding. This was very interesting to watch!! I have a hard time imagining that many roaches.. it doesn’t look like that many!! There are so many conflicting ways of how to do all this but I feel like you make it clear that there is not an exact way it has to be done.

@@mightydubiafeeders Oh yeah I understand. If I was selling and not using it just for myself, I'd for sure leave them on egg flat. But it's an amazing feeling to set up a roach bin this way. Lol. I have them and my hisser colonies on them. Good to hear your hissers are still going. Bet he's still happy about getting them. :) Good to hear from you and happy 4th as well! How do you do a bioactive setup for Dubia Roaches? Would you mind sharing? I was looking into doing a less effort clean-up setup where you'd cut open the bottom of your bin and glued some screen mesh at the bottom, and laying that bin into another similar bin with a bottom.
Hi. Thanks for watching. Well they will survive well between 50-80 degrees F, but there is a sweet spot for breeding which is said to be between 80-90 degrees. We shoot for 85 and we have used both methods in the past for heating. We like to use the heat emitters mainly and when under 40 degrees we move them indoors and still offer the heat. Hope that helps. How did you get 2,375 babies? I did the math from the first time you said the numbers & I got 23.5, I think I just divided the grams. I know I’m wrong lol
