Just saw a video last night of a Jamaican hotel owned by Chinese that did not allow any locals or blacks to enter or be served. Locals aren't even allowed on certain beaches where tourist frequent. It was burned down! DO NOT let anyone come in and take Jamaica away from you. This island was a gift from GOD! Protect it at all costs. 🏝🏖🌅

I visit Jamaica from middle December to the middle of January every year and just find it so hard to leave when it’s time to leave

That's a very beautiful piece property! The potentials are endless! Land in Jamaica is very expensive, so that property must have cost an arm-and-a-leg. It's really nice! When I was a child, I told myself that one day I would live in Portland, but God had a different plan. Anyway, I wish you guys all the best. Thanks for sharing❤!

I got married in St Ann and it rained and rained. When I went to Portland the next day, they bragged that Portland had nothing but sunshine on my big day. lol Can you rent or get goats to keep the unused areas clean? They lied about sunshine in Portland.. 1960 i was lifted out because of rain and mosquitoes age nine in order to stay alive..Kingston and UWI save me..

It’s so funny that I was never into farming when I was younger, but fell in love with farming in the last three years and hope to own my own little farm one day when I retire to Jamaica one day. Something your family should consider - commercially canning and packaging your own brand for the Jamaican market! Your label, your brand😊. OMG this was my exact thought as I was watching the video. I’m a single Jamaican female living in the US with those same dreams, but the support of family is vital. Nevertheless, as long as I have breath I’ll be moving back home, even if all my dreams there doesn’t come to fruition.
fun fact I moved here without my family cuz I couldn't wait I was here for around 6-7 months then they came after me. Not going to lie I was nervous and never thought I could do it but I thankfully had no problems, so in a way it was good to prove myself wrong 😄 defiantly come for even 2 months and try it out and don't be afraid to send me a message if you need a friend 😄

Also, I’ve been going back to JA like every 3 years but it was only for vacation. It’s different now, it’s about where I want to live, make money etc etc etc. So now I’m in the research phase, unfortunately, my job won’t allow me to take a month off so you were BLESSED To have had that opportunity and I’m very proud of you BTW 👏🏾👏🏾😊. Several people have told me that Portland is quite safe and very lush that’s how I came across this video. So I’ll definitely be looking into Portland when I visit JA next year. I love it. Yes I love it. I had this plan/dream to obtain maybe about 100 acres and do what your family is doing. However, relatives had some unfortunately tragic circumstances in 2015 over in Clarendon; and that put a halt on plans. It's hard to rise above the trauma and continue with plans which were only in their embryonic stage. I wish you and your family good fortune and much success. Keep the footages coming sis. You will improve your vlogging skills as time goes by. And did I say I love it!!! Yes, I love it!

Video suggestion: can you do a video on how your father and family got into farming from a knowledge, skill (know how),and learning perspective. How do you or are you teaching yourselves how to run a farm? I think that would help others that are thinking about it but never farmed before.

I had no idea Portland was known as a poor parish thats very interesting, we absolutely love it regardless :) we found our land online while we were living abroad and trust we know how hard it is, I really hope you find ur like peace of paradise soon ^_^

Hey, the barb wire thru concrete post isnt a good idea unless u insert pvc pipe where the barb wire passes thru, wire will rust and deteriorate the concrete quickly...from experience...beautiful place❤
