Hey everyone! I'm Jasmine. In the midst of coronavirus and recent attention towards the injustices of black people in the U.S, I decided to put together this video which highlights black scholars primarily in North Carolina who got full-ride merit scholarships to North Carolina colleges and Universities.

Hi Jasmine, Congratulations on your selection. Q: if selected for the Chetham White scholarship, what happens to any other non-university scholarship money sent to the university? Is it given to the student or deducted from the Chetham White award?

Is the pogue scholarship for UNC a full ride for in state and out of state students?

The Pogue scholarship is a complete full-ride for out of state students, for in-state students it is a tuition full-ride only -I believe. Here is the link to find out more info: admissions.unc.edu/pogue-scholarship-program/
