Great vid. My bird tends to scratch at the hood with the talons and somtimes jumps off the gove and struggles when the hood is on fore more than 1 or 2 mins. somtimes he's fine for 10 mins then just goes crazy. any tips on what I could do?

You went into a lot of detail about the hooding, mostly with how the short and long strings work to adjust the hood! It makes sense that you are hooding him while undoing his equipment! If only he could just "decide" to sit still, but the reality is, if he sees his perch, he's going to fly over to it! I now know why you haven't been posting videos every week like you did during the last moult! There's no point in doing the same thing! But....I'm sure there are some differences. It does seem that Woody isn't being entertained as much much during this moult! Think about your video called "HARRIS HAWK, Noisy Lawnmower manning". Speaking of manning, you should have kept that routine going. Once you missed a couple days, that caused Woody to lose interest in it! I know you just want Woody to be happy, but you'd never be able to overman him! You had to do this with him every single time you switched him from his mews perch to his garden perch when you cleaned out his mews!
